A Trip to the Library with My Grandson, Logan

Recently, I decided to take my grandson, Logan, to the Toddler Time at the local library.  I often go to the library in the morning to work on my posts. It never ceases to amaze me how well-behaved and nonchalant the kids I see there are. I said to myself, “Logan can do that, too. He’s 2 years old.”

Mini-Experiment (Library Trip) - Dylan

Today instead of going to the regularly scheduled #CLS class, I decided to spend some time and take trip to the Carnegie Library #CarnegieGang. I usually do my work in Bird Library, so for this mini-experiment I tried to change it up a little bit and go to Carnegie. As it was my first time in Carnegie Library, I decided to stay in the famous silent reading room and decided to get some studying done for my Midterms, specifically my HST 102 midterm which I have later on today.

Spending an hour here with my music in and in my own little area of the silent room, I was able to actually be the most productive I have been in the past few weeks. Over this 1 hour span, I was able to not only prepare for my test but create a whole diagram where I was able to define key terms for the test and relate to their significance in regards to the course. #ProductivityIsKey #MidtermSzn

All in all, taking this trip proved to be productive for me, and Carnegie Library will definitely be a place where I will go back and #LockIn.

WEEK 11 PART 2: LIBRARY TRIP!

Library~ Library~ Here we come~~

We had a class trip to the library!

Why were we in the library? Well, we continued to find our resources there! With the help of the computers and internet connection!

There was the election voting going on in the library so there were a lot people! The candidates were welcoming us to vote, but we just want to go to the class. 😂

We even went to the where the books are to find the hard copy of resources related to our research. My group and I searched for books related to code-switching and bilingualism. Luckily we found some that would be helpful in doing our research! Dr. made sure to remind us to save all the resources that we had found and organized them properly.

It was very fun!
