Throwback to 2013 ❤️ That year is one of the most important years in my life: I got married in June that year and I was the president of @jci_havisamanda. JCI is the best hobby one can have. If you’re around your 30’s and want something meaningful and educating in your life that will change you for better, google it and join one of the local chapters around the globe. JCI Havis Amanda is the only chapter in Finland (Europe?) where all members are ladies. I am grateful for all my sisters: I am what I am partly because of you. This photo is of our presidential chain which is made by @kalevalaofficial and cosists of Madonna lockets that have a photo of that year’s president, and a carving of the year’s theme. Live exhibitions are finally ON! #HIMSS22Europe kicked off today with a pre-conference day and the actual expo opens tomorrow. Business Finland is one of the main Finnish partners and our stand is ready to welcome visitors. Finland Pavilion program is carefully built to showcase the best sides of our country’s health innovations. My first trail run #nutskarhunkierros2022 is a wrap! Originally I was going with my brother @lumisota but he got a nasty flu this week. I had a race plan which worked out well: ⭐️Follow heart rate and stay on aerobic training until 2. refreshment stop at #konttainen. After that you can go faster if you can. ⭐️Run only downhills and even roads if you can (lots of rocks, mud and rootstock there which made it impossible for my inexperienced feet to run them). I did run pretty nice pace down the hills in some of them, though. ⭐️Walk all uphills. My final time was 4:59:11 and I was 76th in ladies’ series. What a fun day with girls we had! Today S and I took friends with us to see a children’s play “Viiru’s birthday” 🐈🎭 at @teatterivantaa. Girls loved it and stayed engaged the whole time, as it wasn’t a very long play. Afterwards we decided to go to @haltialan_kotielaintila for a snack & coffee and enjoyed the kids playground and @ravintolawanhapehtoori treats - their huge sweet buns and “munkki” are famous around Helsinki. We took one of the beautiful spring trails back to car and did some tree climbing on the way as you can see in photos. 🌱🌳 Also note the not-so-appropriate climbing gear🙈🤷🏻‍♀️ Later we continued playing together at S’s friend’s yard. Hey it’s been a while… about 30 years to be exact, if not counting orienteering with the kiddos. 4,3 km route was more challenging than I expected and I found only 12/13 of the control points - I realized that I missed the second control point at the third but didn’t want to go back for it ➡️ I was disqualified. I am however really proud of myself because the route was really difficult for my skills. ONE week to go until @helsinkicityrunningday!!! 😬🙌🏻🫶🏻 My expectations on my personal performance at #helsinkicity5 are not really high thanks to many illnesses and lack of training in the first months of the year. 😬🤒😷 However, 💡today I did a really nice training where the main workout was 15 x 400 m 🏃🏻‍♀️and it went pretty well. That raised my spirits bit higher. I am hoping to beat my time from last year (21:38). Week from now we’ll see how it goes! *I am one of the #hcrdambassadors and get to participate the event for free. I am wearing clothes by @craftsportswearfin (free) and trusted Fenix 7S by @garmin_finland to measure the data (bought with discount). So proud to represent my own sports club Kauhajoen Karhu (Marathon runners/Kauhajoen Maratoonarit) for the first time in #karhuviesti 2022! I’ve run Karhu relay before but not with my own posse 🐻💚. I am especially proud of our team @paulakiukkonen @lottahulkko_ (missing from the main photo) @ellamet16 and @minnaliisa where Paula and me were the actual marathoners and the rest of the team represented the bright future of running. We won our series! Everyone ran an amazing race! I was really happy on my time. I ran the last leg that was 10,5 km (4:29 min/km). After the past 3 months of flus and Covid I am really satisfied with this. Heart rate was not what my new coach @pasipaallysaho planned for me but that I knew to tell him already in advance.
