“How pretty!” Katherine’s smile is wan, creeping up and into her quiet expression. Hands clasped, she spends a moment contemplating her words, all while prodding forward. The block is still there despite her pushing and insistent experimenting. Nothing is happening, and she’s downright furious about it. How dare anything be taken from her? Nobody had a right to do such a thing to a person of her own power. 

Reaching out, she points to a sleek cat, likely a stray. Despite that, the creature is strutting, head held high and tail swishing. “What a grand little creature. I’d say he looks quite proud of himself, don’t you think?” It was sort of amusing. She wasn’t much for animals, but the cat had enough of an attitude for her to appreciate.
