Have her raised as you have been trained; she will be loyal and fight in the name of Galra.” But which Galra? With agents around, one specifically being tasked to raise the strange alien... Thace could only hope that Haxus could make enough of an impression on the would-be paladin and that she will not follow in Sendak’s steps. Now that Zarkon knew of her and assigned her to Sendak and Haxus’ care, it would be tricky to have her removed from the empire and taken to a Blade base for protection.
Well! This one was fun! And I got to draw a Galra I’ve not drawn before! Commander Prorok! Prorok probably feels that Katie/Pidge should be raised at the command to ensure she would be loyal, but something tells me that while anyone tried to hold her, she wouldn’t stop crying until Haxus, who may be quite the natural with kids in this AU, held onto her. Perhaps that is why Zarkon would have Pidge raised by them.
Well, I hope you guys liked this bit. I was actually going to add Commander Throk, too, have him stand on the other side of Prorok, but... how the quiznak... gangly, lanky, practically all limbs, like one of my friends when he was going through puberty and growing. So! I didn’t. Sorry, Throk! But I did get what I originally planned, though; a gentle Haxus holding baby Pidge and a watchful and concerned Thace in the back.
