Reblog if Klance not becoming canon will not affect how you see the show as a whole
Voltron isn’t about the couples, but about a found family saving the universe.
Keep shipping! 👍🏼 Enjoy fanon/fandom for all it worth, but it not becoming canon does nothing to affect being a fan of the actual show.
Enjoy Voltron!

“Ooo, that’s interesting. But as interesting as that is, I, am not letting you in.”
Prorok was not amused. Far from it to be honest. He’s tired, he’s covered in dirt and grime and is hungry. Throw in a bad mood and you have a pretty done ex commander.
“….Please let me in,” he grits out.
She blinked, “Are those manners I hear? Huh, see those never worked before, remember when I asked so very nicely for you to go away? And well- you stuck around for a long while.” She puffed out her cheeks, before rolling her eyes, “Fine, come on, you look pretty pathetic for a commander.”
Prorok looked yo waiting patiently as possible for her to open “….I’m not a Commander. Just need a ride to the nearest galra outpost…”
A laugh, “Sorry, No can do- I can’t get near a Galra outpost. I could launch you out and try and get you close.” She replied simply, leaning on the pilots ship, “Why do you need to get back to them so bad?”
“....Unfinished Business,” he mumbled, ears flopping down as he looked up tiredly. He just...needs to get in.
There's a small box of chocolates waiting for him in the kitchen that evening. They're misshapen and the chocolate hasn't been tempered correctly on some of them. They're clearly homemade...But at least the flavor is right. And the box was well wrapped with a sweet little bow. There's a note clipped to the ribbon with a colorful barrette. "Happy V-Day"
Prorok hummed as he picked up the small package, giving it a small look over. Then he slowly opened it and looked at the sweets inside before a small smile forms on his face.
“…I wonder who made these…”

Prorok huffed quietly and then narrowed his eyes. Not with the empire? Was he was rogue? Or a civilian trying to do right by someone?
He thought over his options: one in hand he could prolong this and try to see how far he could push him. On another he could go with him, get off this planet, get information and see how far he can get before they had to…part ways.
Preferably with him taking the ship.
“….Very well. Let’s move then shall we?”
“It’s good to deal with someone who’s so quick at making reasonable choices,” Regris nodded. At this point, he felt something started to finally turn right in this mission, even if it meant taking along a companion for a short while.”Anyways, we better hurry now be…”
He didn’t get the chance to finish the phrase as he rushed to jump towards Prorok, dragging him to fall on the floor just a moment before the massive door got literally torn in pieces and a giant metallic claw hit the space where the Galra was standing just half a tick ago. Not giving Prorok the time even to take a breath, he grabbed the latter by the collar and pushed him even further towards the inner wall of the depot, while a giant scorpion-like machine was attempting to squeeze itself inside the barn.
“Kruyv'geshhhh!! You gave away our location, didn’t you?!!” He hissed at Prorok, drawing the blade and activating it.
Prorok shouted as he was grabbed and pinned, ears lowering before he heard the familiar metallic creaking of the creature.
He turned and glared at Regris, baring his teeth “What—“ his eyes widened at the accusation “Excuse me!? Why would I give it away when you’re my only ticket off this miserable scrapheap of a planet!? I’m desperate not stupid!!”
He grabbed his companion by the shoulders and rolled out of the way of one of the swiping claws at them.
((HEY! I’m so sorry for being absent for a while life has been pretty busy. I’m just trying to slowly come back. Sorry about that.))
A rough concept sketch for Reg’s disguise from the thread with @commanderturnedrogue . Regris uses this masquerade often for missions that require intelligence on spot or investigations). He usually doesn’t wear his BoM armour for such missions but in 99% of the cases he does have the blade with him, thoroughly hidden in the folds of the cloak.
The outfit is an exact copy of what someone from a Strythan Guild loyal to the Empire would wear. As the Stryth and generally any inhabitants of Nelara system are mostly restricted in travel and thus can rarely be met in other parts of the Galra Empire, one would hardly tell any difference and the disguise works perfectly to fool your average Galran grunt, unless by any rare coincidence they served at the Gamma Thion base and were observant enough to notice the very important detail is missing in this costume - the symbolics that are unique to each Guild.
The cloak is usually zipped up and Regris prefers to have the hood on to cover his ears and head; also he often wears awkward oversized gloves to hide the claws that would give away his Galra origins. The mask has built-in night vision optics, weaker than the ones he has in the BoM mask, but usually enough to work in the dark places and dusty or polluted atmospheres; also there’s a little device that changes his voice if the situation requires.

Prorok’s ears perk up and he slowly turned to face the other. Hmmm….so he didn’t know who he was? Well this might make things a bit easier…..
“…You can get me off of here?” He narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
He could smell a bargaining ship but he also didn’t want to overplay on it. After all any chance to get off this planet required a price. Perhaps he could use him…to get closer to reaching a more personal goal…he just needs to play his cards right and keep his ears open.
“….How do I know you won’t just abandon me on some desert asteroid if I agree to give you this….information?” He crossed his arms.
“A tough one, you are,” Regris thought. “I wonder if he’s just cautious or perfectly realizes I just have no other option”. Of all cards to play, convincing was a reasonable way, unless he’d be forced to use more unhealthy methods of interrogation, which he definitely would prefer to avoid for now.
“Of course I wouldn’t abandon a fellow Galra” the Blade reassured, taking off one glove to reveal the clawed hand. “I’m not from the Empire though, if that would disappoint or encourage you… just, a loner willing to help”
He looked over the shoulder nervously; the door was still shut securely but there was some tiny hint of danger hanging in the air, reminding he must get to a safer place as soon as possible.
“I suggest we discuss the details on the way; my ship is hidden outside the city, but we might need to hurry to leave this place unnoticed.”
Prorok huffed quietly and then narrowed his eyes. Not with the empire? Was he was rogue? Or a civilian trying to do right by someone?
He thought over his options: one in hand he could prolong this and try to see how far he could push him. On another he could go with him, get off this planet, get information and see how far he can get before they had to...part ways.

Honestly the last thing Prorok thought he would be doing was swimming through the oceans of the current planet the empire was mining to see if it had a proper amount of quintessence….
He adjusted his mask and slowly swam through the reef with his gun in hand should anything….hostile or possibly edible cane by. He’s hardly seen any of the inhabitants around, but he knows to keep his distance since he and his team split up to cover more ground.
He perked his ears when he hears something from behind a reef. What in the empire…?
Logic told him to ignore it…but he always did have a strong sense of curiosity.
Blissfully unaware of any potential danger, the infant undine stared wide-eyed in fascination at the new creature in her stomping - or rather swimming - ground. It was bigger than any fish she’d yet encountered and exceedingly clumsy. The child could not help but giggle as she watched it bumble along. Even newborn babies could swim better than this silly fellow!
When it reacted to her laughter, turning and paddling her way, suddenly a game was afoot: Hide and Seek! Shrieking with delight, she zipped away, a little flash of green lighting, to find a suitable hiding place. Secluding herself among a nearby clump of coral, she stifled further giggles with her hands as she peeked out to watch the mystery creature.
Prorok raised a brow, turning to find the source—
“Gah!” He pulled back at the loud squealing sound and the sudden flash of green. He blinked a moment in surprise before he narrowed his eyes.
What in the stars...
Against his better judgement, he goes to investigate. After all whatever he’d just seen...and heard might be useful to the empire one day.

Prorok was still growling but now had a Fishy grabbing his arm. He barely caught word of what she was saying to him as he wakes towards a tree.
“I’m not going to kill it! I am getting your pendant back! Innocent or not that pendant is yours!!” He growls at the creature up the tree before he hugs it and starts to wiggle up it.
There was no way a Galra of that size was getting up that tree before the creature flitted away. “Wait, wait,” Krie urged. “That’s not going to work. It’s just going to run away before you can get to it. We’ll have to lure it down somehow.”
After only a moment’s thought, she had an idea. “We’ll gather some fruit and other shiny things and try to coax it over. If we offer it something better, maybe it will drop my pendant. What do you have in your ship that’s shiny and not needed?”
Prorok froze when she spoke. He was about to protest, but at hearing her explanation, his ears twitch and lower a bit. That....actually might be a better idea. He looked at the creature, then made an ‘I got my eyes on you’ gesture with a huff.
“Very well....I might have some old energy crystals....their out of power but they still shimmer in the light.....” it’s about the only thing of value he can think of.

Prorok froze. He completely froze at the mention of the fleet with his ears rising up in slight alarm.
He’s…looking for someone from the main fleet? A communications officer? A the name was definitely familiar oh yes….he took in a deep breath and tried to relax himself. Remain calm, find out what you can.
“…..And….what exactly makes you think I would know anything hmm? I have not heard of this investigation going on so I don’t think I can help unless I have…all the facts mind you.”
Like when did this officer go missing and how?
The reaction of his companion couldn’t pass unnoticed; no matter how much and where from, but he definitely knows something. Even the slightest hint was of great importance since it would move the mission from the dead end.
“My informer really knows his job; right now it doesn’t matter and I’m really short of time.” Regris moved closer to the Galra. “Consider me..a private detective, let’s say. I’ve been looking for that deserter officer in favour of one person he definitely knows, and they’d prefer to remain incognito and keep the whole thing a secret.”
Regris gestured towards the dark warehouse they were in.
“You don’t really like it here, right? I got the impression you used to live in a much better place than this one dumpster of a planet, - I’d appreciate any help and in return, I could help you”
Prorok’s ears perk up and he slowly turned to face the other. Hmmm....so he didn’t know who he was? Well this might make things a bit easier.....
