It’s a lot to take in.

Jimmy’s love life had been far from stable with how things ended with Chloe. And while at first, it had been more of a rebound with Kara he finally thought he had found a relationship that was fitting for him, but now... now he had no idea. If anything he was more concerned about how she felt with everything.

He hesitates for a brief moment before reaching out and running his fingers along her hand. “Well... do you believe it is now?” As much as he wants her to say yes, he wouldn’t hold it against her if she thought otherwise.

He wrings out his shirt as best as he can before moving over to the window. “The meteorologist said two hours before it lets up, dear.” He frowns as a flash of lighting flashes across the sky. “At least it’s not another Katrina.” He spoke, turning to face Laurel. “I’m sure we can find something to entertain ourselves with. Unless you want to talk.”
