What do you think Qui-Gon thought of Satine?

Hmmm... I think he thought of her as idealistic, given the fact Satine's father was a warlord and she was a Mandalorian pressing for peace. Mandalore hadn't seen peace in decades, and definitely in no one's lifetime (maybe Yoda's, but doubtful). Probably didn't agree with her political views for the most part, as he's seen the absolute best and worst of humanity over his five decades at that point.

But I think he probably enjoyed her banter and quick wit, and her ability to keep Obi-Wan from being a total hoe hothead.

I imagine that the times the trio were together, they probably discussed their respective cultures a ton. I can definitely see Satine being a history nerd - I mean canonically, she was studying on Coruscant when the civil war broke out on Mandalore (I don't have the exact source off the top of my head, someone help!) I personally think it's extremely important to have multiple perspectives of history, especially for a politician.

Jedi and Mandalorians have a long, intertwined history and I could see the trio overall really challenging each other's beliefs about their respective cultures. We already see that Satine is more than happy to share her voice, and that definitely came from an early age.

Sidenote - for Obi-Wan and Satine to develop the relationship they did, I believe that Qui-Gon was often gone for long periods of time during the Year on the Run, perhaps gathering allies or infiltrating various political factions, etc.

one aspect i wish more people understood about them: He's not whiny. He fucking isn't. He's been abused and has trauma. Istg, people need to stop saying that trauma survivors are whiny.

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character: He had a crush on one of the Jedi training with him when he was younger.

one character i love seeing them interact with: REY. But, we knew that already.

one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more: I wish we could have seen him interact with Poe more. It would have been great if he lived at the end of TROS and had to make up for the horrible things he'd done. (It was cheap to kill him off.)

one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character: He and Rey have really gentle sex the first time they do. Both of them are virgins at that point. #BenSoloLives

Hi, I've noticed that quite a few fics that are getting reblogged by the archive do not have "read more"s and I was wondering if for courtesy's sake that having a "read more" could become a requirement?

Hi, we've had a think and discussion about this and have an alternative proposal. Rather than adding additional requirements in order to be reblogged, we're going to ask our fairies to add the tag "long post" to any fics or pieces of writing they reblog which they consider to be long. This means that anyone who does not want the long posts on their feed can block that tag.

It also means that anyone who has gone to all of the effort to tag appropriately but maybe missed a note about adding a read more still has the possibility of being reblogged.
