About Today

The final day of my weekend was spent celebrating a dear friend’s birthday and topped off with a brilliant group Bob Ross paint session with my wife and our friends in the US. My painting is nothing like the original and I kind of love that.

Feeling very content and not quite ready to hit the work week tomorrow.

A week (or so) in retrospect.

These past couple of days have been stressful with the US election and beyond, but we're trying to keep positive in this house. I'm trying to keep cosy vibes going, good books around me and good food too. Today I'm starting Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall because there feels like no better time than the present.

How has the week treated you so far?

For the first time in MONTHS I spent my morning having breakfast at a cafe with my mum, followed by a peek at the library, which has excitingly opened again. Today has been good for the soul. I'm now back at home with an iced coffee preparing myself for another busy workday ahead. ⁣
