oh jeez where do i even start ok there was this guy that i liked back in first grade and he liked this other girl (also my friend for a while) who liked him back but he kept sending me mixed signals and i think he might have liked me back??? YOUNG LOVE, A REAL MESS!! and one day i was trying to walk to where the playground was but it was apparently in the middle of some soccer game and he was one of the players and im not even sure what happened but i walked through the game LOL but all i remember is that one second im walking and the next second someone rAMS INTO ME AND WE’RE BOTH FALLING AND IT TURNS OUT THAT IT WAS HIM AND HIS LIPS WERE ON MY NECK LJDSFKL AND EVERYONE WAS LIKE FREAKING OUT SO YA END OF STORY TIME IT WAS WILD

today my sis and i went out to go to the library and we decided to also swing by one of the malls nearby and get fro-yo. this has been like our second or third time doing it just as sister time and we officially declared as of today, we’ll use getting fro-yo as code talk for “im stressed and i need a break” because it was the reason why we went out in the past too!!

aaa I honestly don’t know bc I just have an appreciation for all the little things in life!!! my favorite season is spring; i just love the idea of starting fresh and the weather!! but in all honesty, i just like it when i have breaks because as a student that’s what we all look forward to lets be real haha

the comforting silence,,, i’m a night owl by heart so i just love how quiet it is and how im just in my most natural state. i also love sleeping so ya LOL

i find it really attractive when someone laughs i know that sounds kinda funky but i love seeing people smile and laugh and just having fun bc life is short,,, and i want my partner or a friend to have a good sense of humor!!

i’m in love with all my hello kitty stuffed animals i just love her so much and i always will she’s just been a big part of my childhood!! i only have 2 hello kitty stuffed animals but they mean the world to me!! i’m also really fond of this pink stuffed dog i have that I named “bowy” because of the cute lil pink bow on her head LOL i have an emotional attachment with every single thing i have, even my old clothes!! it’s a cancer thing LOL

home: in what type of environment do you feel most safe?

somewhere that i’m able to speak my mind and just literally let myself go and be 200% weird and beyond. i’m such a weird person!! my friends know half of my weirdness and my sister knows the other half (which is,,, really wild im warning you). just somewhere that i can fully be myself and not worry about getting judged. that’s why it’s so important to me to build that kind of environment here on this blog bc we all deserve a safe haven!!

offering: how do you show others you are fond of them?

for my family, i shower them in hugs and a lot of physical affection. i’m just an affectionate person and i really hope my future partner is too haha. for my friends, we all have that affection where we call each other names but it’s just really funny LOL and I also always constantly remind them that I’m here for them and I give out a lot of advice to them, which I only do if I truly care about that person. I’ve been told that I give out good advice and it brings me a lot of pride knowing that bc I’ve always cared so so much for people and I never quite knew just why I do until I’ve realized it’s just a part of my personality to not being able to leave someone alone in need. I will do the same for my partner and will shower him in a lot of love!! i would most definitely give him a lot of hugs and kisses and just a lot of touching! I will also express my love in actions!! it’s important to let the people you love know you love them bc you don’t wanna live in regret knowing that you missed your chance!! i will also always check in with my loved ones and see if there’s anything i can help them with, much similarly to what i do for you guys!!

laughter, the one kind that hurts your belly and makes it hard for you to breathe, it just makes me really warm that they’re letting loose and able to fully enjoy themselves!! also those sighs of contentedness, it’s just bliss in those moments!!

reverie: think of somewhere otherworldly u wish to be within, what is it like there?

aaa hmmm,,, it would be somewhere really serene and just relaxing,,, maybe it would be in a meadow/forest looking place with a sun shining down brightly but with purple and blue hues,,, or somewhere near the ocean or just a lake and it would be vivid splashes of green on the trees and grass,,, you can just peacefully look at the constant waves,,, or there would just be sand and the open waters in front,,,, an endless possibility!!!

finds: what kind of item would you most likely buy from an antique store?

idk if this counts but a Polaroid camera omg i’ve always wanted one, way before it got hipster!!! i thought it was super cool how it would immediately print out whatever moment you capture, and it just blew me away. I’m also a fan of vintage clothes so I might browse around for those!! i really love vintage fashion, im an old-fashioned girl at heart!!! there’s probably so much more that i would buy from an antique store bc I just love looking at antiques, so I would have to actually go to one to find out!!!

Life Ask: Conquering Fear

Warning: Considering the topic of this particular ask i'm going to put up a general trigger warning, but more specifically for abusive relationships, harassment, lgbt+, and PoC

The important thing to know is that fear should not stop you from action. It is always easy to say, but always a lot harder to do. Making up a plan up while in the middle of a scary situation is hard and even going in prepared with a plan is not easy, but the important thing to know most of the time a situation will not change on its own. Only action can make a situation improve whether it's fighting, or running, or getting someone's help.

Sometimes the scary situations are created by the people you love, and it's important to remember that it's not your fault. It's not your fault and Neither is it your responsibility to change someone. If they Want to change then help them, but do not let yourself be taking into the illusion that you will be able to convince them to change. Most of the time you won't be able to do that despite your best efforts and it's not your fault. That fault and responsibility lies in the person causing the scary situations.

The only thing i can say to help conquer your fears is taking actions against them and succeeding. It's not a simple matter, and sometimes things get worse before they get better, but not doing anything only makes things get worse. It's been proven in studies that people, if not stopped by either the person they are harrassing or by an outside force, will continue doing what they want until they are. If people are harassing you make a scene. Get them noticed and uncomfortable. Make it not worth their while to be close to you. Same goes for spirits. If they are bothering you, start erecting barriers, cleansing, banishing, anything you can do to fight back and make it harder for them to want to stay. Studies have also proved that people tend to harass people who fight back less than those who don't fight back.

As for losing a fear...i don't think people ever lose their fears. I think they just learn how to live with them and learn how to overcome them in one way or another. My own fears stay with me, but i've come to terms with the fact that they might happen and it hurts to think about it, but I believe that with time i can learn to live with it.

For those of you who suffer from anxiety and other mental health issues that would make it difficult to do anything remember, that it's never your fault if someone you care about is being abusive, no matter who they are. For those of you who don't fit heteronormativity and deal with lgbt+phobic families remember it's not your fault. If their are racist people in your community and you are a PoC remember! it's not your fault. I personally don't give a fuck who says otherwise it's not. No one deserves to live in fear for any reason. Not even love.
