FAN BASE FRIDAY! 🙌🏾👩🏾‍🎓🗣🙆🏾🏃🏾‍♀️🌿🏈🏆🛣 So, of course I'm a Hawk Fan by Default... because I'm from Seattle DUH?! 💁🏾 However, Oregon holds a special place in my heart 💕. Not only because I went to school there (not U of O but Portland State) but I developed some wonderful relationships and connections with people who not only inspired me but also helped to save my life. 🤝🙏🏽 You never know what God has in store when He's leading you in the direction of the "Unknown". I didn't get into ANY other college but Portland State (and I'd like to think that I'm a pretty smart girl 👩🏾‍🔬) You wouldn't believe that the HBCU's didn't even take me 🤷🏾‍♀️lol. That's neither here nor there. I just KNEW God wanted me in Oregon. I went through many trials/tests, I got my "butt spanked", was 'ratchet' and living the Double Christian life while tryna not feel controlled by anyone or even God. But oh, did God "arrest me". There's so much to tell about this Oregon story and there will be a book memoir to follow. My hopes is that it will be an encouragement to college students, youth and even adults taking the 'road less traveled' when you're trying to lead your life. Also, how to avoid being in the 'wilderness' for 6 years 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️. My goodness have I been through a lot and put myself through unnecessary heartache and pain over the years. But God has been SO faithful to me. The process has been so worth it all this time and I'm happy to be able to share my 'testimony' with the world 🌎.
