My Nile River Villa when I lived in Aswan, Egypt in 2012. A few photos of some of the rooms. It was quite a large villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Brand new. The views were some of the best. I felt like a princess in her little palace. Not a bad spot to land, heal, explore and experience culture shock to the nth! That ain’t no lie! It was one of the most trying times of my life. I was getting pushed so far out of my comfort zone in every way that I started to reel in nothingness. Every part of my life would be tossed out and I was forced to figure it out. Myself, my life, the culture, the now, the future. Nothing looked normal. Nothing was the same. A place out of time and a chick that needed wine 😅 ... seriously, I never thought of wine, but dannngg this was a situation no one could imagine and I was in it deep. I meditated more than I ever have. Every day was as long as a month. Stay tuned for more posts on my life in Egypt and check my profile to see my previous Egypt posts.
