LifeCrew!Ava has arrived! (Iron Lung 2026 spoilers)
Captain Ava D. Cepheus, also known as the Captain King of the Stars. She runs the Silver Phoenix, the flagship of COI’s greatest remaining fleet. (More under the cut.)
As the most competent person on the ship, she was assigned to keeping this ship from exploding, whether on accident or thanks to the maintenance team’s mischief.
She’s a bright and bold woman with a knack for organizing and improvising, and she loves all life, human or inhuman, proved so when the crew stumbles upon a small cat while salvaging supplies on a ghost ship. At just the sight of the sweet little thing, she immediately began fussing over him and carefully lifting him into her arms.
When the rest of the ship saw how happy she was with him, and saw how saddened she was to find out that he would only be put in a kennel, they unanimously agreed to remain silent on her behalf about the cat living on the ship.
Realistically, she gets the least amount of sleep on the ship. She considers the fact that she gets Any a miracle, and when Simon awoke in the infirmary finally, she actually managed to get a bit extra for a while… Until Jack found out she was trying to convince him to continue helping her.
