Lifemaker Headcanon #3: Possessions and conditioning those for them

Ever since The Lifemaker obtained ceaselessness, she has needed to possess someone to keep himself anchored in reality and able to interact with it. The deity will occasionally condition and prepare someone to act as a suitable host. While The Lifemaker can theoretically possess anyone, there are a few reasons why she will still go through the time to make a suitable person. However, even bodies she conditions like this have limits.

The first, being that, due to her immense and world creating power, she needs a body which can contain it. If she possesses a body unsuitable for her power, say a regular human. She will be unable to full ground himself in reality, as it is far to weak and unsuitable for all her strength. This has the effect of making him unable to access her full power in a less then adequate body and weakens him. Even in this state, however, she is more than capable of defeating some of her verse’s most powerful combatant’s.  In addition, unsuitable bodies will slowly tear themselves apart as time goes on, depending on how incompatible they are. A normal human could be gone in days.

Secondly, above all else, those of both extreme power and of her descent which possess royal magic, are the ultimate and most suitable hosts. If one fitting these specifications(Such as Negi Springfield) were to be possessed by The Lifemaker, the deity would be capable of fully anchoring himself in reality and using the maximum might of her power without restrictions. The functional omnipotence she exerts over her creations could be imposed upon regular reality with ease.

Lifemaker Headcanon #2: Combat

When it comes to fighting, The Lifemaker prefer to avoid physical contact and instead use spells. He is absolutely by no means weak in physical combat though, knowing nearly every fighting style to have existed in over the past 2000 years, even those lost to the ages, and an incredible amount of experience in them as well. As well as ridiculous raw physical stats to go with them. This combination allows him to effortlessly floor the vast majority of people in close combat if she so wishes.

In addition, due to the amount of even remotely challenging fights to happen to the Lifemaker over the past 2000 years being countable on one hand. She has come to enjoy any fight which provides even some difficulty. She will even hold back to prolong the fight if the opponent is strong enough. Challenging fights are one of the few times The Lifemaker breaks her normal cold and calm personality

Finally, due to the fact just about any defeat or death is, at most, a minor set back for The Lifemaker, given her ceaselessness nature and patience. The Lifemaker will generally(But not always) be accepting of her loss in the event he loses and retreat, even if she could easily possess the one whom defeated him.

Lifemaker Headcanon #1: Ceaselessness

Ceaselessness is a “state”, if one can call it that, that  the Lifemaker obtained several hundred years ago. Described as a state beyond mere immortality or even deathlessness, ceaselessness exact powers and functions are very unique.

The main aspect of this is that The Lifemaker no longer really exists on any level, physical, spiritual, metaphysical, or even conceptual, hence ceaseless, yet at the same time, she also does exist, outside of it all. In a way, it is the idea of being dead and alive at the same time, but taken to the most extreme and godly levels possible. This paradoxical “state” of not existing yet existing at the same time has several aspects to it.

First, as The Lifemaker exists, for lack of a better word and simplicity sake, outside of everything. She cannot ever die or be affected by anything in anyway shape, or form, even erasure from existence or conceptual destruction. This immense power is not without it’s drawbacks, however, as she himself is unable to interact with or affect all forms of reality in nigh anyway, shape, or form. She is nothing but a spectator toward existence when like this. The only exception to this, besides observation of existence, is possession of a host, doing this “Anchors” him into reality and allows him to continue on as anyone else would. This has a drawback though as well. Due to being anchored in reality, she is vulnerable to the one and only way to put him down for any length of time, sealing. This requires immense power and ability to do so, however.

The Resonance unique skill acts as a medium and her anchor for The Lifemaker possessing someone. Theoretically, removing this skill would mean The Lifemaker is effectively dead for good, however, doing so would require the destruction of the concept of the skill.

The Organization's Individual Opinions on humanity and similar races

Despite sharing a goal and nearly all of them having been created by The Lifemaker, Cosmo Entelecheia has varying views of species like humanity. One thing that is universal however, is they care for humanity as a whole. Meaning that if the Earth were about to be destroyed by an outside force other then humans themselves, they would defend it.

The Lifemaker: Holds humanity is a surprisingly high regard. He admires how persistent humanity can be and their ability to accomplish so much in a short time given their lifespans. However he does hold this admiration for all of humanity and is well aware that there are a decent amount of humans that are deplorable. But he believes in humanity's potential for great things.

This respect has grown a bit more somewhat since his encounters with Nagi and Negi Springfield and their feats of defeating him and ensuring the magical world's existence respectively.

Master of the Gravekeepers Palace: Perhaps has the most "human" look and perspective of the group. Likely because she operated heavily among humanity and the magical worlds citizens as their rule at one point. If you're a decent human being she'll treat you fairly. If you an evil person, she will respond in kind.

Quartum: Has one of the lower opinions of humanity in the group. Bar very few exceptions, he believes that most of humanity is currently a large waste of space and very self destructive. However he does believe that humanity does possibly possess the capacity to be better then it is now.

Sextum&Quintum: Mostly regards humanity with indifference.

Secundum: Believes himself better then mere humans by divine right of his lord and creator. He thinks that humanity can be a good species, but that they need someone to guide and take care of them to stay on the right path. Essentially that they have trouble helping themselves. There are few exceptions to this, but he mostly sees them as the exception that proves the rule.

Dynamis: He cares for humanity's overall well being and will defend it as a whole if the situation arises, now that Cosmo Entelecheia's goals have been achieved. However for the most part he doesn't get involved much. As in he will not go out of his way to help people, but if he happens to be around and it's not a large inconvenience to him. Dynamis will lend a little aid.

Nii: Somewhat indifferent, might lend a bit of a hand if she runs across something.

Primum: Regards humanity mostly with disdain and believes himself far better then a mere and simple "human." For the most part his view is similar to Secundum's, but without the positive spin on humanity being good but needing a guiding hand. His views differs in that he believes humanity needs to help itself and make itself worthy of not being a waste of space. If it can do that then his opinion will improve. There are a few exceptions to this that he will take, but he views them as exception to the rule. Like Nagi Springfield.

The Lifemaker Headcanon# 7: True Goals

(Utterly massive spoilers inbound for Negima, avoid this post if you don't wish to be spoiled).

It is easy to think of The Lifemaker as a malevolent God due to the methods he used to advance his goal of Erasing the Magical World, said goal also being one many would disapprove of.  However this is actually very far from the truth.

In truth The Lifemaker actually has the overall good of the Magical World and the Old World in mind. He looked into the future and foresaw the eventually collapse of his world when he first created it over 2000 years ago, but he also saw someone preventing the destruction of the world while at the same time allowing it to exist indefinitely without him needing to supply it with energy and pave the way for humanity to expand into space. Because he did not want to interfere and solve everything, given his status as an incredibly powerful creator God, he mostly allowed history to take it's course, with some exceptions.

Given the future is always in motion and changing though, he made the back up plan of erasing the world and sending everyone to an eternal paradise of Cosmo Entelecheia(The location), in the event history did not pan out as he wanted. This was one of the exceptions to letting history take it's course, for this he created his organization to go toward erasing the magical world but also guide history toward the favorable outcome he foresaw. This meant things worked out either way. If someone did save the magical world, then things proceed well and there is no need for the world to be erased. If not, then the rest of the world is sent to an eternal paradise and saved from total erasure from existence.

It should be also known that despite The Lifemaker forbidding his creations from killing others under normal circumstances, much collateral damage likely ensured from the war he orchestrated to allow his organization to operate well in secret. This is because you could say he did not mind some collateral damage. As the fates of even a few million people compared to multiple billion are far less important by comparison. Especially those easily revived by his power in Cosmo Entelecheia.

These are the reasons that The Lifemaker did not do anything to personally further erasing the magical world until the combined armies of the entire magical world and the group Ala Rubra were right at his door, when he could quite clearly have been a massive help in erasing the world.

Headcanon #6: Time

In part, due to his massive power and ceaseless nature, The Lifemaker has several powers that tie in with time.

The first is his ability to see timelines. This ability is not a passive one though and something he has to actively use. In addition, it has some limitations. Those being that specific details can be hard to pinpoint for one, making the things he see somewhat prophetic in terms of detail. As well as due to the nature of the multiverse and the fact the future is not written in stone. He see's all likely possibilities that could occur and due to this cannot see the exact thing that will happen, but he can see which possibilities are more likely then others. For the most part this is used for someone's reality in Cosmo Entelencheia.

Secondly, among his creations, such as the magical world. He can see into the past of the person or object. This is also not a passive ability and must be actively used. Though he rarely uses it.

Lastly, due to both his ceaselessness state and his own time manipulation. Time manipulation, such as timestops, do not affect him.

Headcanon #5: Traveling

Partially as a form to pass the time and partially because he feels there is not much left to do in his dimension. The Lifemaker does a bit of traveling. Mostly to other dimensions or timelines as crossing those is easier then crossing the universe. And most of the universe is empty space anyway.

Headcanon #3: Possessions

Ever since The Lifemaker obtained ceaselessness, he had needed to possess someone to keep himself anchored in reality and able to interact with it. However, he has several things he does to the possessed body and he cannot make just possessing just any person work for a few reasons.

The first being that, due to his immense world creating power. He needs a body which can contain it. If he possesses a body unsuitable for his power, say a regular human.. He will be unable to full ground himself in reality, lest his power tear said body apart. This has the effect of making him unable to access his full power in a less then adequate body and weakens him. He is still very far from being weak  Even without instantly destroying the body, his power will slowly tear apart the possessed person, this is a slow process though, taking years to become unusable depending on how fitting the body is.

To get around this fact, sometimes The Lifemaker will "Condition" someone's body to possess. Such as when he turned Evangeline into a Shinso Vampire. As he intended to create a suitable body from her to later possess as one of his goals.

Finally, when The Lifemaker possesses someone, there are several things he does. The first is he uses his magic to maintain the body. This includes things such as making internal organs no longer important. Like if one were to somehow destroy the head of the possessed body, this would not bother the Lifemaker in the slightest, wrestling control of the body is also impossible unless one can overcome The Lifemaker's a power, a difficult talk. Lastly, as long as some shred of the possessed body remains, the Lifemaker can regenerate and repair it, this depends on if the body if suitable or not though. This is done via warping reality and recreating or rewriting the destroy part back into existence, as such it is next to impossible to prevent. If one is able to destroy his possessed body to that point. It's unlikely The Lifemaker will not bother repairing it and will instead simply possess the one who destroyed his old body, unless he is conditioning their body to possess later and they are not ready that is.
