Ancient Discovery
Brief change of career to temporarily become an archeologist and dig up this ancient piece of internet blogosphere. It’s been 3 years since I last posted...partly due to being extremely occupied by medical school studies and fully embracing my time off by traveling and NOT being glued to a computer.
But alas, I’m currently studying for the whole summer once again, this time for the Medical Council of Canada Licensing Exam which I am planning to take this September.
Here’s a brief point form update of the last three years:
-finished medical school YAY!
-interned a various Canadian hospitals this year for networking slash general shmoozing purposes: hire me in the future!
-traveled to Africa twice and basically explored all of Europe (almost...there’s still a few gems I would like to visit in the future)
-PNW explorations and it feels soooooo good to be back home in the region I want to live: mountains (shred life, shred life, shred life), beaches (surf kooking), and sushi
That’s the gist I think!
Anyway, this summer is pretty low key adventure wise as my focus numero uno is hustling through this exam material and absolutely dominating on test day. But I’m already looking forward to some potential study breaks...
Well well well. No time long see, tumblr. It's interesting how much I've changed in 2 years. Mainly being, I stopped running. I've become a victim to the comforts of my couch. Not that I mind, really. Running became a chore and it didn't quite bring me the joy it used to. Also, I'm a married lady now. That boy I used to talk about? Yep. We're hitched.
Life is good.
