"mmmh." aria's head is on the other's shoulder, as she's casually reaching for her hand. a peace offering, probably. "listen, ari, i think maybe, perhaps, you not liking pizza won't end our friendship after all. it's still blasphemy, though."
❛ how kind of you . i am truly grateful , ariana . ❜ weaves their fingers together , curling . ❛ & i simply haven’t had it , darling . well , not any good types . trashy pizza is the sort that i’ve had . don’t count me out yet . ❜ ( she was vegan , but not fixatedly . she couldn’t always afford to only get the types of foods she would prefer , after all . )

Fair Date!!
☆┊Ah, how lucky of him! A whole afternoon to be spent at a glorious fun filled fair with a good friend by his side! Heath was a little strange which was to say the least since he had an odd and aloof way of acting that sincerely drew in Nagisa from the moment they met. So it was absolutely no wonder why he had immediately latched on, finding the odd to be nothing more then intriguing as it peeked his interest to no avail. (Plus, one could not forget that he was a rather handsome boy.)
Of course he was all smiles and grins as he found his way to the other, arriving at their destined point to meet as he waved gleefully towards him.
❝ Heath, Heath! Did you wait long for me? ❞

❞ you can speak german? that’s really impressive. ❞ he says whilst pouring a cup of coffee for the server to deliver to one of the few remaining customers, HEATH was an INTRIGUING individual, nao only wished to know more about him. granted, he did acknowledge the other in front of him wasn’t the most open or social when it came to himself. easing him in with praise and compliments didn’t sound like a horrible or impossible idea, actually, nao found it rather pleasant to make others feel happy or honored.

... ah. it is rare for him to have spectators, but their presence will surely not displease him. The moment he realizes he is not alone anymore is the moment the woman’s body finally falls on the ground, the sound it makes echoing all around him. Her blood is still hot on the blade of his sword, so bloodied that it turned from silver to red - a fitting color for SIN himself. In the place where once was her beating heart now there is just a dark hole, flesh and skin destroyed by a sharp sword. It is a pleasant show - one that his dear brother Destruction would love! - and although his eyes do not allow him to see it he is still pleased with his work. Maybe the one standing behind him will have a different opinion, but after all you cannot get along with everyone.
He turns to them slowly, his sword still held in his hand. There is blood on his clothes and cheeks, and it is weird to see how he looks even more beautiful when covered in red. “Will you—step closer or will you stay—there the whole—night?”
❜ can you imagine… if penguins had human hands for feet? ❜ it was the first thing he had thought of that morning, and as he took a sip of his coffee, idly playing with his napkin, he had decided to bless the other with conversation. / @lifeslain liked
she didn’t like the westridge’s rather arrogant attitude just as much as the other girl but part of her wondered just how much of that was actually true. there had to be some decent people around there, right? still, she’d spend most of her time in the company of other eastridges, people she knew from before. “ i heard you got into an argument the other day, what happened? ”

There's so much that Graham never tells. He knows if he explained himself fully, if he expressed just what it was he felt about his own person, people around him would be worried. There are times when he looks in the mirror and he can see where his jaw used to be thinner, how his eyes were once youthful, and suddenly he's glad the weight of time has erased all these fragments. If Graham was offered a chance to meet his boyhood self, he would strangle that youth in the reeds. That self important, close-minded attitude that carried him through his school years is just one more reminder of a past he can't escale from.
And it's still there. God, how much does he hate that it's still there. That close-minded judgement comes out when he doesn't even think about it. A gut reaction. Even when he aims to do good, somehow the arrow never quite hits the mark. Graham is left standing there, all other marksmen gone and departed and only a hollow wind in his ears, their work done hours before, and yet, and yet, why can't he reach it? He looks around himself to see a land barren and struggling to breath and he wonders What is wrong with me?
It's easy for everyone else. And so, it's easy for him to keep it to himself. To slip his hands in his pockets and act like he didn't try. That the marred and arrow studded target wasn't his. But, he still can't walk away from it. Despite the constant storm in his thoughts, the heavy clouds hanging overhead and the suffocating humidity, Graham wanted to make that connection. Even when his own sins weighed down on him. Even if avoiding people was the simpler option. He can't let this go.
And now, Graham stands in front of Heath, the storm rolling low over the horizon. Somehow, despite it's weight, it never fully arrives. There's no explotion of lightning and thunder, there's only the threat of it in the air. And he knows Heath can feel it. Graham swallows and looks down, trying to push back the clouds swirling in his chest.
His hand is lifted and Graham looks up at Heath, surprised by that simple touch. He thought he would be pushed away, spat on. But, maybe, that's what Graham would do to himself if he could. And maybe, other people didn't feel so disgusted near him. His expression was delicate, there wasn't any part of him that was closed off or distant. All he could do was listen.
I'm not leaving.
That one phrase held on to him and Graham let out a light exhale. Even after all this. Even with his sins laid bare. Heath wasn't going to leave?
Graham couldn't think. But even if his thoughts couldn't move, the storm reacted for him. The grey mass that hung so close to the ground began to disperse. The air felt cleaner, lighter. The clouds were still there, but their presence wasn't so imminent. The world in his chest took in a long deep breath before the rain began.
Tears rolled down his cheeks. His face didn't twist in agony. Graham let them fall, his expression hadn't changed but his eyes did. They were clear now. They didn't look like heavy mud mixed with moss and dying vegetation after a rain storm. He could breathe.
"Heath... I..."
Graham didn't know what to say. He could feel himself floundering, trying to bridge that gap and convey himself, but nothing came to mind. Instead, of wallowing in it, of hating himself, he did something different. Graham lifted his friend's hand and gently kissed his skin. He pressed both thumbs against Heath's hand and stood there, staring at his skin. There wasn't much else he could do, but, just from Heath's words and touch, he felt lighter.
"Thank you."
