Little A: Mummy, I cannot wear my monkey backside pyjama pants coz it's too small already? Me: Yep. Little A: I let Didi wear it now? Me: I think it's too girly for Didi coz it's pink. Little A: How about I have a meimei then I can let her wear? She's been asking for a meimei and this attempt sure is a smooth one.
Late night crocheting because a certain little girl has been requesting for a frozen dress but her mama refuses to buy those Elsa dresses out there. Let's hope this project sees its end. #crochet #lifewithalethea #toomanyunfinishedprojects
Little A: *assigning identities* I am rabbit, mama is a squirrel, papa is a zebra, kaka is a giraffe and Didi is a lion. Mummy, what does lion eat? Me: Lions like to eat meat, so lions eat rabbit, squirrel, zebra and giraffe. Little A: *looking composedly horrified at didi* But Didi, you don't eat us because you are a good lion. 😂😂😂

When I first got this book (about a boy who draws on the walls with his purple crayon), I told myself I'll not read it to Little A till she's older so I can explain to her that she shouldn't follow what the boy did... but a few nights ago, she found the book and asked Papa to read it to her. This morning, in my half-asleep state, she came to me and asked, "Mummy, what will happen if I draw on the wall and mat?" Oh sigh, my prediction couldn't be more accurate. 😩😩😩 #lifewithalethea #whydidibuythisbook #shouldhavewarnedthehubstoo #haroldandthepurplecrayon
Little A: Mummy, today XXX 老师 scolded me. Me: Oh why did she scold you. Little A: Because I didn't draw. Me: Oh then what were you doing? Little A: I talked to Mason... connection and recipe and bake ?!?!?! *couldn't understand but sounded like a big cookout plan* Me: I see. Did YYY 老师 scold you last time? Little A: Yah. Me: So who is fiercer? XXX 老师 or YYY 老师? Little A: XXX 老师. Her eyes so big. Me: Oh, how about Ms AAA and Ms BBB? Are they fierce? Little A: No, their eyes not so big. So apparently, the level of fierceness is measured by the bigness of the teacher's eyes. So it's true when teachers say THE STARE is important in classroom management. 😂😂😂
