Notes: John 3:14-15 in the Bible states: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” This verse draws a parallel between Moses lifting up the bronze serpent in the wilderness (Numbers 21:8-9) and Jesus being lifted up on the cross.
