Sitting here thinking about how much I would love My Time At Sandrock to have like a webtoon or online comic or something.
Not to retell the stoy of the game. It would be a slice of life/comedy comic depicting moments that we didn't get to see from the main story or after the ending.
Just the fun and funny moments of the everyday lives of the residents of Sandrock. Owen having to deal with terrible customers. Elsie's misadventures on the ranch. Whatever Logan and Haru got up to during their time as bandits. Logan going through the trials and tribulations of being a single dad.
Now personally I wouldn't want the builder to be a main character. They would show up from time to time and be mentioned but not as the main focus. (They already got an entire game to be the main character). I think the funniest route to go down would be to make the builder an absolute mad lad constantly doing crazy things and somehow coming out alive. Characters would mention the builders crazy exploits of the week and move on. Sometimes they briefly make an appearance, clearly in the middle of some wacky shenanigans. Only to leave the scene as fast as they came into it.
Sigh. If only I knew how to write comedy
