You and Leon haven’t been seeing each other for very long. It was a blossoming romance, filled with hesitant touches and giggles of excitement after soft kisses.
Your conflicting schedules made meeting difficult, but Leon finally had the time to take you out. Something simple, of course. A night stroll on the beach after a casual dinner.
It was cold, so he held your hand as you trudged through the sand. He liked looking at you, but he tried not to stare as you two walked. Finally, you stopped by the shore. Sticking close together. Staring at the glistening ocean in front of you, he was the first one to speak up.
“What are you thinking about right now?” And he wanted to know, because all he could think about was how perfect this moment felt like with you.
You let out a breath, feeling the cool air prickling into your skin. “I dunno,” you said. You thought for a moment as you looked at the waves.
“I guess… I can’t believe I’m here right now.” It was a little vague, but there was a subtle weight behind your words.
Knowing you well enough by now, his thumb ran over the top of your hand. A soothing, mindless motion. All his attention was on you, rather than on the ocean front. “Yeah?” he asked quietly, as to not disturb the air of intimacy. “And why’s that?” His curiosity stemmed from similar feelings. Being with you on the beach, he never imagined he’d allow himself such a nice outing.
You contemplated your words, deciding how much to give away. Your heart won when you spoke. “Well, I’ve been… really lonely for a long time. And now, we’re here. You and me. I like that.”
His expression softened. This was uncharted territory for a man like him. He didn’t know how much to say either. He swallowed on nothing. “I do too,” he finally said. “I like being with you.”
You smiled at that, feeling the contrast of warmth in your body against the night’s breeze. You leaned a little closer against his side as you watched the waves. He shifted his arm to wrap it around your shoulders.
After a pause, he inhaled a breath. He didn’t look at you this time, feeling rather nervous. “Is this… Is this going anywhere, for you?”
Your head tilted over, until you could look at him and he could look back. “Yeah,” you answered, without any hesitation. “It is.”
Hearing the sincerity in your voice, a rare smile tugged at his lips. “That’s good to hear.” His eyes roamed your face, and eventually landed on your mouth. There was a silent question in his gaze, the uncertainty of a still new action.
You caught his thought, of course. You were thinking the same. “What?” you asked shyly with a smile.
The slight boldness made his thumb run across the fabric of your sweater. He tugged you a fraction closer, until you were in front of him, rather than beside. “Can I…?” A small flush brushed his cool cheeks.
“Yeah,” you said. You took a breath in preparation, and your eyes fluttered closed.
His other hand shifted to the back of your neck, pulling you in close. He tilted his head down enough to catch your mouth in a soft kiss. A deep one.
Sure, Leon had kissed people before. But it was never like this. Tender and all-consuming, as you two figured each other out.
His tongue teased at your mouth, and yours did the same until they brushed. The onslaught of kisses made you two grow warmer and warmer, with a dizzying feeling consuming you both.
You held onto him, since the sand wasn’t a stable flooring. You were in a sort of embrace then, as his hand on your shifted to the small of your back.
Leon pulled away first. Instead of letting you go, he peppered small kisses against your lips as he spoke. “You… want to keep doing this?” he asked in a whisper. “With me?”
“Mm,” you hummed back. “I do. If you want to.”
“I do,” he confirmed. His hands roamed your back, feeling the fabric of your fuzzy clothing. “You don’t know how much.” His mouth finally shifted, going down your jaw and neck. Kissing, with soft suckles here and there.
You let out a soft sigh, fingers grasping onto him. As his lips grew more insistent along your skin, you finally thought about your state of being. “Leon,” you breathed. You felt too light on your feet. “Maybe we should go back to the car.”
He looked a little dazed when he pulled back to look at you. His own breaths had stuttered. “Good idea.”
Leon gladly followed as you tugged him across the sand and back to the car. It was much warmer in there. Your hair was mussed from the wind, cheeks pink from the cold, and he thought you’d never looked more adorable. He couldn’t help it; he smiled.
The car ride back to your home was mostly quiet. He steered with one hand, and held your fingers with the other. He wasn’t sure if he ever really wanted to let go.
When the car slowed to a stop, you spoke up. “You know… you can come up. If you want.”
The implication wasn’t lost on Leon. His knee, which had been bouncing, stilled. He had thought about being with you, more than he’d like to admit. So soon, though? It felt like a dream. He wasn’t sure if he deserved it.
“I’d like that,” he rasped, cheeks pink again.
You smiled. “Good, c’mon then.”
His presence was almost looming as he followed behind you into the quiet space. He felt jittery, like he was awaiting the best gift before Christmas. Once inside, he turned to you. “Now what?”
“Bedroom?” you offered, also nervous. Yet, the anticipation was there.
He nodded and held your hand as you led the way. You took a seat on the edge of the bed when the door clicked closed. His eyes ran up and down your body, taking you in as his heart pattered in his chest.
He walked towards you, slowly. He stopped right in front of you, using his hands to spread your legs apart so he could stand between them.
The both of you were hesitant. You took the first move to reach up and cup his face in a trusting, wanting kiss. Leon was eager. So eager, at how perfectly your mouths slotted together.
It didn’t take long for the clothes to fall away. For his careful, calloused fingers to peel them off of you. It was slightly colder, but the combination of your body heat did enough.
The sound of his breaths and your moans mixed together. His hands held you at your hips, where his own stuttered forward as they rocked into you at a slow pace. He was so close, wanting to feel every inch of you until he couldn’t tell where you ended and he started.
“You’re so beautiful,” he praised.
Hazy with pleasure, you found it in you to smile. One hand splayed across his back, while the other tangled in his hair. Each sensation was electrifying, and you sighed. You were learning each other, exploring with a passionate patience.
He kept you in place, each thrust angled deeply for your pleasure. Each flutter of your walls elicited a moan from his swollen lips, and his head hung forward.
Your mind felt too light as you moaned, “Oh, God…”
His breaths came out in short pants, purely focused on you and your body. “I’ve wanted this,” he confessed in a grunt. “You don’t know how much.”
He pulled you closer, and your skin slid together with each thrust of his pelvis. “Yeah,” he breathed. “Couldn’t stop thinkin’ about you.” The words tumbled out of him. “Wanted you for so long. You’re perfect.”
You moaned with him. “I’ve wanted you too,” you admitted. “‘Cause I just like you s’much.”
The words made his hips snap forward involuntarily. “God,” he rasped in between breaths. “Mm… I like you so much too.”
You smiled again. “Leon, ah, I– Maybe this is a bad time,” you laughed breathlessly. “But I want you to be mine. Officially.”
It took a few, long seconds before the words registered in his brain. His hips slowed, and his head lifted to meet your eyes. His own were wide, a mixture of relief and surprise in them. “Are you…” He licked his lips. “Are you really asking me to be your boyfriend?”
You paused too, because you felt a little silly for asking him such a thing when he was balls-deep inside you.
“Uh…” you mumbled. “Yeah. Is that okay?”
His face lit up with warmth, a small breathless laugh escaping him. “Is that okay? Yeah. Absolutely. I’d love to be your boyfriend.”
You smiled, the relief filling your body. “Okay, good. Because I’d love to be your girlfriend.
Now that it was settled, he leaned in to kiss you gently. “God, I really like you.” He shifted again, setting a lazy pace as he held you.
“Like you too,” you exhaled. “So much.”
He moved unhurriedly, taking the time to burn this moment into his brain. Until all he could feel was you, and the growing romanticism in the air.
