If you have any doubt that you wouldn’t have been alive if you didn’t put your mental health first then maybe regretting it isn’t the right emotion? Sometimes it’s more like you wishing things were different but they couldn’t have been, and that’s not regret, it’s just wishful thinking. I personally don’t think you should regret doing something that saved your life from being in danger (ofc I have no knowledge of what actually happened, I hope it’s behind you now!)

Oh, I’m definitely very irrational about this. But it does feel a lot like regret and I’m sure the way I think about my past isn’t exactly healthy… So what you’re saying makes perfect sense, actually

He blinks. A lot. One might even say he blinks too much. He reads the message over and over again, hoping the words on the screen would magically shift into something else. However, with his luck, that won’t be happening. 

As he thinks it over he learns that he would rather walk away from his laptop, leave the country, go into hiding, and starve to death before even acknowledging the question. 

Despite all of that, he will answer. Barely. 

“Wouldn’t you love to know.” 

The words are quick and have a bite to them. The kind of bite to show that he’s unamused and pissed off, but not so much bite that he’s too rude.

your L is one of the best things that happened to me; i feel like he's an actual person that breathes and feels and reacts as he should and everything is beautiful and everything is in color; i love him more than any other L i've ever interacted with in my life, he means a lot to me and i think his characterisation is very unique and simply incredible, thank you so much for blessing me with him ♥️ amazing isn't enough to describe the wonder that he is

There are so many cool songs I associate with Light, but I especially love “Walking In My Shoes” (by Depeche Mode) and “(You’re The) Devil In Disguise” (by Elvis) for him!
