The Light Arrow

Erin here, with another Zelda cocktail. This one’s called the Light Arrow.  

Summer in Austin, Texas is kind of like being steamed slowly in your skin for four months. That being the case, I prefer to drink things that require minimal effort and deliver maximum refreshment. Hence, the Light Arrow.

Stuff You Need

1 oz Peach Simple Syrup*

½ oz Lemon Juice

1 oz Vodka

2 oz Club Soda

Ice

*To make this, make your simple syrup as usual, then stir in some peach slices, and let sit for a few hours or overnight. When you’re ready to use the syrup, strain out the peaches. This syrup is a great way to use up any bruised peaches you might have, and it’s great in lemonade as well.

Doing It

Dump everything but the soda in a glass, mix it, adjust anything to taste if needed, and then add the ice.
