To branch off of the evilness that has occurred tonight, crystal reed is fucking fantastic and magical and i love her to pieces. the fandom can thirst over dylan obriens white boy dick and mediocre acting all they want, the truth is that he only seems better at acting(which i don't even see to begin with) because jeff davis has a boner for him and gives him all the acting opportunities that he doesn't give to anyone else and I'm not here for it I'm here for tpose and crystal and everyone else

the thing that most bothers me about shameless, i think, is the amount of problematic/offensive things that they get away with on the basis of "oh, the show is ballsy, it goes there" they handle some situations/plotlines TERRIBLY and people are like "wOAH this show is the best it goes where other shows don't" and i mean yeah it'd be cool if it was that, but most of the time it's just blatant offensiveness that people sweep under the rug because it has lots of sex/swearing/nudity/adult themes idk

yeah i definitely agree w/ u like the molly storyline for example was super problematic and handled terrible and the whole thing was super transphobic and a lot of ppl praised them for it and like?????/ nah though?????

i didn't know there were people who didn't like lip i have hope for the world again, like i can't stand him, and tbh i feel like if shameless was more popular with tumblr, more people would call him out on his behavior than they do now. but yeah ohmygod the amount of bullshit that comes out of his mouth is astounding when you look back at all of it

honestly like in retrospect it's so much more pronounced than when ur watching it for the first time sometime u don't even catch it and tht's kind of scary tbh

"people are mad because he told them they are weird for liking a certain aspect of the show" i'm half pissed and half cackling because like ?? he didn't call anyone weird and like. sterek isn't even an aspect of the show, do they really think it is ???

To me it sounds like a whole lot of people saying that actors need to shut up and look pretty unless they're complimenting the fans and like... that's not what i like to see in actors. I like when actors have opinions.

People aren't just mad. They're violent, and that's what a lot of people are missing when they're telling us to quit making a thing out of it. it's not just fans bitching about posey for what he said. these fans are sending him violent messages. It's not anger, it's violence, and we should make a big deal out of it, because it is a big deal.

I wouldn't be too worried over the extra saying they haven't filmed much together, I mean he's an extra after all, he obviously wouldn't be on set 100% of the time, and I doubt that they're filming the entire episode just in the span of one day, they could have filmed scenes before or they could be filming more still for all we know.

right it seemed like he filmed mostly (if not only) in chicago and they do like 90% of their filming in la so he hasn't seen like anything really just outside shots.

I don't have the actual link to it anymore but I saw a really good post on the whole discussion on ian x mickey sex scenes, saying that none of the obvious reasons really made sense, but that it could be doing it this way for now because of the way their relationship was, like the whole 'just a warm mouth to me,' issues displaying intimacy, etc, saying that once their relationship progresses to a more intimate level, it'd make sense to go further with those scenes, at least i hope so
