The Tuath Dé were shaped to be near enough to humans to be trusted, and strong enough to protect them when trust fails. Among the seven guardian races, they are the closest to humankind. They work extensively and exclusively with them, as humanity is their soul charge. They frequently travel between the human realm and the gaurdian realm as often as a commute to work.
Tuath Dé are intentionally humanlike.
Build: Tall, broad, and sturdy; often husky or powerfully built
Height: Generally taller than humans across the board
Hair: Always curly; always within the ginger–auburn–red spectrum
Skin: Peachy, warm-toned, and quick to flush
Eyes: Green or blue only; bright and expressive
Freckles: Abundant and unmistakable, scattered across face, shoulders, arms, and body
The Tuath Dé possess an innate presence that puts others at ease. Humans feel safer around them, even when humans are unaware of their existence or presence. Children and animals are more perceptive of their influence.
They are quick to laugh, quick to offer food or shelter, and slow to anger.
But when that anger arrives, it is decisive and frightening.
Tuath Dé society is built around clan and hearth.

They are broadly laissez-faire in daily life—relaxed, indulgent, forgiving—but unyielding when it comes to protecting the vulnerable.
