So, I did a thing! I don’t get to do big changes very often but, a dear friend and former client (I moved away) asked me to get her back to a red color she had and loved in the past. She takes good care of her hair but, self coloring the ends time after time left them close to black. She then tried to lighten it herself which raised the new growth to a level slightly lighter than needed at her base. Plus another inch of new growth. Fun times. Actually, it was. It took me four hours and two toners but, a liveable first step. I will refine more on our next visit and she is conditioning the heck out of it in the meantime. A major shout out to Pulp Riot Lightener (I only used 20 vol!) and b3 additive for helping to preserve some semblance of good condition considering what had to be done to the hair. . . . #friends #stylists #redhead #transformation #lightenitup #correctionalcolor @pulpriothair @brazilianbondbuilder #magicshit #gelsaloninc (at Gel Salon Inc) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1RdIi9gZqI/?igshid=q1geq81lcu2l
