Today we chose the final background music and finished editing the video. This is the final draft to be sent to Aaron of Lighthouse Charter School.
I trimmed down the video a bit (nit-picky things like pauses and ums) and added a few overlay in the last part of the video.
AJ and Matt advise a different video because the current one too much like a corporate commercial.
I added a few more potential music and royalty-free resources (thanks to Matt) to the group google doc. CHECK THEM OUT
Next step should be incorporating a new background music and get the draft project approved by AJ and Matt. Then we can send it to Lighthouse.
Practiced some more with Premiere. This took around 30 minutes. The bulk of my day was spent viewing interviews and selecting footage I felt stood out from the rest. I cut ~1.5 hours down to 40 minutes, and I still have trim it down even more.
Today I edited and interview to practice using Adobe Premiere. Putting the footage together to tell the story was cool but choosing the right shot was hard sometimes.
