by technicality have they not been dating close to the same amount as percabeth ? if not more ? percy and annabeth started dating 3ish months before percy disappeared which is when jason and piper starting “dating” then they actually started dating like a couple days after that then they continued to date for 6-7 months until the argo was built which (technically) percabeth were still dating but percy was literally not there so you could say that was on pause so TECHNICALLY lighting mclean dated longer then percabeth by 6-7 months that’s actually crazy
i mean obv percabeth had years of friendship to build off of compared to jipers fake memories but like wtf
genuinely i feel like that’s what missing from most of hoo couples; the friendship aspect
