Put a fictional character in my ask
Hi! I'm trying to follow your Fade Transition tutorial (it's really great and in detail!) I was wondering how to get the "cropped" pieces of the larger gif onto the canvas with the small gifs. I tried to crop, copy, and paste, but it didn't play back after the paste.
Follow the same steps for moving the smaller gifs onto the panel!
Drag and drop the piece of the big gif onto the panel containing all your smaller gifs!
alternatively, if this isn’t working, you can duplicate the piece onto the panel.
right click on the smart object that is your larger piece and then select duplicate from the drop down menu:
then select the name of the document that is your panel with the smaller gifs as the “destination”:
The piece of the larger layer must be in smart object form for this to work!
