I’M 100% FOR ASCIAN HYTHLO. I actually have one where Hyth joins the asicans bc he was within proximity to be saved (instead of sacrificing himself)
and another where he went mad with grief after someone he knew was killed, and it’s a whole angst au where he’s literally just in a large mansion in the lavender beds
this one has two iterations too:
one where he does his duty that emet would’ve done (as, in the comic, emet died during the final days). he’s not tempered, he’s purely doing this of his own free will because the image of emet’s death is seared into his memory.
and another where he turns his backs on the ascians and instead assists the warrior of light with a clone body he took from allag. clone bodies never age, so he happily took one and ran tf off somewhere. where? who the fuck knows.
