Just found this and it made me laugh more than it probably should 😅

Claire sighed as she waited for Molly to enter her room. God, was this what she had sunk to, breaking into rooms to stalk the occupants into helping her? Her grandmother was, unsurprisingly, being rather unhelpful when it came to disclosing her children’s locations now that they had officially saved the world, and Claire was done with it. She had stayed away this last year because she was told, by everyone who knew she was still alive, that it was better and it would be easier to hide them if she wasn’t around. They didn’t need hiding from Renautus. Nathan had seen to that. The world thought she was missing, her father thought she was dead. And she hated all of it.
But first thing’s first.
Her eyes raised and looked to the door as she heard it start to open. “You know... Micah thought I should talk to you.” Technically true. Claire wouldn’t have thought to go to Molly for help without Micah telling her to go. She was so use to staying off the radar, pretending she was dead, that asking for help seemed almost foreign. But Micah was right. Molly was the best way to find out where they were.

Of course. This had always been the problem. The kid was still a good to the bone. Elle should feel relieved that all those years spent together hadn’t broken her...or something. She happened to be very good at that.
Elle shook her head.
“They’re not worth it, Molly. They definitely don’t deserve you-- and I include myself in the collective they.”

Claire had just finished giving a speech and had walked off the stage when she heard a familiar voice. Typically, she didn’t want family or friends at her speeches, mostly because of how much trouble came along with having her family around. But she was happy to see Molly. She was one of the few people that she seemed to be completely on the same page with things.
“Hey, we can talk in my dressing room. It’s about to get really, really loud out here,” she said as she leaned in to Molly’s ear to make sure she was heard. It was practically a rock concert, no one would ever know the difference, she liked to joke to herself.
She led the way to her dressing room and opened it before opening it all the way to allow Molly entrance.

“Am I a bad person that I just... don’t want to be here?” Yes, she knew her father, both biological and adopted, were paying for her to go here, but she just... didn’t think college was in the stars for her. She felt as if she was meant to be doing something more active then what she was doing now. What was so important about grammar and what year Roanoke disappeared when there was always something going on with the Specials. “Come on, let’s ditch and roadtrip somewhere. Anywhere.” She’d rather be out there saving some random person from a car wreck then dealing with all the college crap.

They’re standing by an ATM machine and while this falls into a grey area, he knows they need some cash while they make it across the state to meet the others. He could easily tell the machines to forget them, but it was safer this way.
“Is anyone looking?”

He has CUT OFF himself from the world.
That’s what he knows when he flashed an electric outburst to cause a quick brownout, enough to give him time to flee from the Bunker and return the power. He doesn’t know that he is able to completely shut everything down, but he only knows that he has to get out of there, that he doesn’t want anyone to know where he is. Out in the city, all by himself, arms wrapped around himself as he broods by an old warehouse overlooking the lights in the city. It is off-grid, a hundred or so miles away from anything or anyone that can be looking for him. He doesn’t mind to bring anything with him; cash, phone, Sam’s laptop . . . and he thinks that he should have that soon.
Until a presence comes by and the Nephil is unfazed, discerning what the creature is. A hunter ? A monster ? An angel ? A demon ? They all look and act human, so it is difficult for him.
