I feel like my title answers all the questions you might have about this plot.

Basically, the Skull doesn't exist in this AU. There's a goose who makes wisecracks and hangs out with the squad, although he may not be an entirely reliable narrator.

She stood, frozen in the doorway with a quizical expression on her face.  “Uh…Mo’…” she called called, brows pulled together in wariness as she eyed the creature that was unknowingly her boyfriend, “Have you been experimenting again….?”

A tiny paw went to facepalm at his girlfriend's theory. "No, my love... You know that tea you brought home the other day, I think that did it," he said very seriously. "Are you certain you didn't buy it from a voodoo store or some such?" One good thing about being a Moogle - being able to perfectly hold a pokerface.

"Do not worry, this won't last long... Please don't laugh. I've had a tough day." With that, he pulled a blanket over himself, knowing perfectly well that Asha was about to at least giggle about this. Only his pompom peeked out now and he could feel the static electricity building up.
