The Dark Pit Staff is actually my favourite Final Smash in Ultimate as:

1: They just pull it out as though they could’ve at any time, it’s effortless

2: It implies that the Mirror of Truth created a weapon with equal power to the Lightning Chariot (the Staff) because their damage values match. 40%, and 1%+39%.

3: Stop comparing it to that fuckass ancient bow and arrow that explodes upon contact with stuff, this Godly Weapon pierces everything for a pretty far range.

I still can't get over how Smash says that the Forces of Nature kept the Lightning Chariot. Like, The Chariot Master spent millenia keeping a lonely, vigil over the chariot, waiting for a successor, and when Pit proves himself to be that successor, he dies in Pit's arms making him promise to keep it.

I forgot how fun/intense the Lightning Chariot Battle is

I rarely play Ch. 19 so it's always fun to revisit parts of the game I don't remember that well. I love how a character that only shows up for one tiny bit of the game is given so much depth and background. We end up learning a lot about this guy and his own personality quirks, making him, like the rest of the cast, personality-driven and likable. Then the ending of the chapter happens and there is a mutual remorse you as the player feel with Pit.

God this is such a good game.
