Maybe one day I could fly

Guy thought to himself

As he shot an eye

At a cloud high in the sky

In the shape of an eye

Batting wispy lashes

/Then suddenly the sky was roaring flashes

Which struck his back, he crumbled to the floor

How quickly did his rainbows turn to ashes

He dreamt no more as the rain clouds poured

/Rivers hissed a rippled dying dream

But by the time he smelled the coffee steam

He had blisters forming on his shoulders

Guy was growing wings

/Do you think that I could fly

Guy thought to himself

As he shot his eyes

To the clouds high in the sky

Then he closed his eyes

Spreading bright wings wide
