United We Stand (Ventus, Casshern, Lightning, Mary and Roxas)
Ventus's eyes slowly began to flutter open. He groaned as his senses started to return to him after the effects of the drug that was injected into him. It took him a minute to get his bearings. He was sitting in a chair. There wasn't a lot of light to give away where he was taken. But judging by the massive space and boxes lining the walls, Ventus guessed he was in a warehouse.
"Oh..." He groaned, still a little woozy from the drug. He tried to move out of the chair, but found himself stuck. He looked down and his eyes widened. He was shackled to the chair. Steel cuffs curled around his wrists and ankles, keeping him from getting up. He felt his mind take him back to dark place in his past: Xehanort's dungeon. He began to panic and fight against the cuffs, making quite a bit of noise. But, just like the chains in the dungeon, Ventus couldn't break free.
"Hey!" He heard someone call, "He's awake!"
A bright light was flicked on and shone over Ventus. He hissed as his eyes adjusted to it and looked up. There were two men coming over to him. He couldn't make out if it was the two that grabbed him earlier though. All he could see is that they were big, and they were each carrying a different.
"Finally awake, huh?" One guy looked down at him, "If you stayed asleep any longer, I would've thought that you had gone into a coma from the sedative."
"But now that you're awake," He knelt down to Ventus's line of sight, "You're gonna help us."
"What do you want with me?" Ventus asked.
Almost instantly, the man struck Ventus's cheek with the back of his hand. A loud SMACK could be heard echoing across the walls. Ventus just froze in fear, wishing he was somewhere else.
"You only speak when spoken to," He warned, "Got it?"
Ventus just gave a small nod, wanting to avoid being hit again.
"Good," He smirked sadistically, "Now, you're gonna tell us everything you know about everyone you met here."
Ventus felt his eyes go wide and he took a deep breath in, trying to stay calm.
"That's right, kid," The man said, "You're gonna tell us everything. Where'd they all come from? They're not from around here, just like you. From what we've heard, they can do...Funny stuff. We've never seen them, just heard about them from the ones who dropped you off."
"Dropped me off?" Ventus thought, "They don't know about my Keyblade!"
"So, boy" The man said, "Tell me what you know."
"What?" The man asked, clearly baffled by the resistance.
"I said 'No'!" Ventus glared at him, "I'll never tell you about them!"
"Maybe you don't get it," The man picked him up by the collar of his shirt, taking the chair with him, "You don't have a choice!"
"Hey, careful with him!" The other man said, "He's the only one we have!"
"Now's my chance!" Ventus thought.
He brought Wayward Wind into his hands with a flash. It shocked both of them and the man dropped Ventus. He swished the Keyblade, unlocking his bindings and landing on his feet. They screamed while Ventus slashed the weapons out of their hands. He took a few steps back and brought the Keyblade to his chest. It dissolved into him and pair of bladed wings took its place. This was it. He was going to make his escape. He needed to go back and help Casshern and Friender.
He kicked the ground and took off, but as soon as he was airborne, he felt a pair of hands roughly grab his shoulders. He turned around and saw two other men trying to pull him down. Ventus tried to give another flap of his wings to get away, but the two men he had fought off were back on their feet and they had a hold of his legs. They slammed him back into the concrete floor where Ventus landed with a cry. The four men proceeded to stomp all over him, leaving nowhere on his body untouched. Ventus screamed, unable to get away.
They stopped and held Ventus to the ground by his arms and his wings. One man pointed his gun at his head and looked over to his left. Ventus struggled to look over to see what had caught his attention. There was another few men coming in. The one in the middle was different though. He wasn't dressed for combat nor was he armed. He looked more like a scientist. He smiled and looked down at the injured Keyblade wielder.
"Ready the clamps and get the tools," he barked. The men nodded and went out of sight.
"Well, look at these," He ran his finger along the nearest blade, causing Ventus to wince, "How...Interesting. I can't wait to see what happens when I...Experiment."
Ventus looked with horror as the men returned. They had clamps that were used for working with metal, and they were heated to a point where they were red hot. He struggled more and the man with glasses smashed his head into the ground. He looked and saw blood dripping from his nose. The man took a clamp and grabbed one of the blades. Ventus screamed at the contact trying to move it away, but it was being held in place. He felt the man twist it into a curl until it broke off, falling to the floor. The sight of his broken wing horrified him.
"Well, it looks like they aren't as durable as I thought," He mused, looking at the broken piece still attached to Ventus, "I'll have to try a few more methods."
He used different clamps and tools, drilling at them and hammering into them until not one wing remained in place. Ventus cried the entire time, but he received no sympathy. His wings were gone in a matter of minutes, broken into pieces on the floor. Ventus was shaking on the floor, his mind completely gone back to his time with Xehanort.
"He should be a little less rambunctious now," The man said, "But don't take any chances. No more on the chair. He's lost that privilege. He stays on the floor. Make sure there's a least three of you here with him, and always have your guns on him. I don't want a repeat of what just happened. Although," He smirked at the broken wings, "I doubt there will be."
"Oh," He stood up, "And use something stronger than cuffs to bind him this time. Barbed wire will do nicely."
He got up and left, though Ventus didn't notice. He felt his limbs roughly smash together. He let out a cry as razor sharp barbed wire was wrapped around his wrists and ankles, the sharp steel piercing his skin. He looked back to the wings. They slowly began to fade away into nothing. He felt like he had no energy left, but there was no way he could sleep. He was in too much pain.
"Casshern...Friender..." Ventus thought as the blood dripped from his barbed wire wounds, completely out of tears to cry.
