When it rains all day for multiple days & you are stuck inside, sometimes you get bored but still inspired enough you end up doing something really cool! I took this shot actually using a Nikon D3300 because all 5 of my Sony's batteries were dead & in need of charging. I used my LensBall, placed on top of a mirror, then combined using finger lights & the @lightpaintingbrushes light-whip to get this cool close-up reflection! - Shot on a Nikon D3300 Camera, kit lens at 50mm, f/5.6, ISO 100, 49 sec exposure. First photo & lightpainting of 2019! I have decided to try slight variations to the ghosting technique & I feel like this particular shot is the beginning of something new. Seeing as I'm still at my old stomping grounds for a bit I went out to my old abandoned factory in West Jackson to pull this off. & seeing as this was still New Years Day, yes, people were still playing the old fireworks vs gunshots game. I would say gunshots definitely won out!!! - Made with the @lightpaintingbrushes light-whip. Shot on a Sony A7rii, Zeiss 35mm lens. 49 sec exposure, f/3.5, ISO 500. I'm hoping to hear some good stories on this one!!!♠️♠️♠️ - This shot was taken back in September with my good friend Johnny Andrews aka @stimulightthenight We went camping at Crowder's Mountain in North Carolina where we hiked in 94° heat to the summit. When we came back down we were beat, & even lost our way back to the campsite. Lost in the darkness, we eventually found our way back to the camp from the main parking lot, & though we were exhausted this did not damper our spirit! We hiked, sweated, went through Hell, & finally we lightpainted. I actually never wanted a Trickstick, because I was airfraid that it would kill the creativity.... But if I look at the possibilities and if you use it right I see it as a huge growth of creativity!
