Bit more Krooked around hurr
First order of business: my feet are cold. Krooked Kitty is under a new hosting company, HostGator. I decided to make the switch because I'm a total nut. Also because if I'm going to be using this blog like, ALL THE TIME NOW I'm gunna need some leg room. With that, I am on the monthly plans again. Not a huge deal as it's only $9 a month. I did my homework as far as cheap/reliability/space/bandwidth is concerned and according to Webhosting Reviews HostGator came out towards the top. I figured what the heck, I'll give 'em a shot.
I don't see happening like what happened to me with RigRag Hosting. I paid $10/yr, and OH MY GOD. I ragequit that hosting service in a week, no lie. The server was like, NEVER up.
I had the site transferred and up within an hour, perhaps shorter. Only real thing I had to do was edit some paths and change some database info and I was up and ready. w00t w00t.
Furthermore, I have signed up for NaBloPoMo, which is basically a play on NaNoWriMo, but instead of just being in one month, it goes on for the entire year and if you get stuck, there are daily prompts posted on the site. Basically a question to answer, similar in kind to LiveJournal's Writer's Block.
Lately I have been hanging around on Gaia Online and LIGHTSmb to get some kind of social interaction going.
