Do you find yourself watching movies and thinking how the characters of the Hannibal universe might fit in? Have you ever watched a film and thought, ‘Yes, but Hugh would be amazing here!” Then this is your fest! 

It’s time to write that Harry Potter or Star Wars AU. Dust off that old notebook with the twelve handwritten pages of Hannibal as Indiana Jones. Make that The Odd Couple AU that you’ve always dreamed about. Tackle James Bond or rewrite The Lady and the Tramp. If it’s been on the silver screen, it’s fair game. Any characters from the Hannibal universe are accepted— go wild and do an Alien with rarepairs! PS Margot would make an amazing Ripley, just saying!

From January 21st-28th, create art, write, make edits and gifests, or create sculpture or playlists for your favorite movie AU. All ships or no ships; it’s wide open. Use the hashtag #LightsCameraMurder to post your works on Twitter and Tumblr. Only previously unpublished work will be accepted.

My piece for @hannibalcreative‘s #LightsCameraMurder event. I think this still counts as being submitted on time? Would have loved to take more time with this guy, but alas, that wasn’t meant to be. 

Movie crossover with “Fido”. 

Will’s life was every bit the average 1950′s ideal, a beautiful wife, a bright daughter, and a steady job. So why did it take their family adding a ZomCom butler to their household to show him how to really live?

The Phantom of the Opera AU for #LightsCameraMurder, a Hannibal event hosted by @hannibalcreative

I chose this scene in particular because the lyrics reminded me a lot of The Wrath of the Lamb, when Will accepts his darkness and he and Hannibal kill Dolarhyde.

The world keeps spinning, and the tales keep turning, and people come  and people go, but they're never forgotten.

FIRST OFF, this was the second real piece I’ve done on my new tablet, but the first I did with lineart, so just to share the fun around I decided to make the raw lineart file available for everyone. You can get it over here.

SECOND, this is a redraw of a previous piece I did about a year ago (which you can find here) and really, I just liked this AU and the Book of Life so much, I’m just glad that I got to draw it again. For those of you who don’t know the movie, I based Will and Hannibal on the two Gods of Death, La Muerte and Xibalba respectively. It’s overall a great animated movie and I don’t want to spoil the story so please, go and watch it. :3

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

#LightsCameraMurder | @hannibalcreative With Hannibal Lecter in Azkaban, Bedelia Lecter ignores Chiyoh’s wishes and goes to the one person who can protect her daughter: Professor Frederick Chilton. Will he swear the most sacred vow in the wizarding world to protect Abigail while she tries to carry out the Dark Lord’s wishes at Hogwarts?

‘What help do you require, Bedelia?’

“Frederick,’ she whispered. ‘My daughter … my only daughter …’

‘Abigail should be proud,’ Chiyoh said. ‘The Dark Lord is granting her a great honor. She seems excited at the prospect—’

‘That’s because she is sixteen and has no idea what lies in store! Why, Frederick? Why my daughter? It is too dangerous. This is vengeance for Hannibal’s mistake, I know it.’

‘Yes, the Dark Lord is angry, Bedelia, very angry indeed.’

‘If you are there to protect her … Frederick, will you swear the Unbreakable Vow?’

‘Certainly, Bedelia, I shall make the Unbreakable Vow,’ he said quietly. ‘Perhaps your sister-in-law will consent to be our Bonder.’

Beneath Chiyoh’s astonished gaze, Frederick and Bedelia grasped right hands.

‘Will you, Frederick, watch over my daughter Abigail as she attempts to fulfill the Dark Lord’s wishes?’
