Converse Rubber Tracks London: Venice Trip

Converse Rubber Tracks is back in London, recording new music from emerging artists for the next two weeks at the one-of-a-kind Lightship95, a pro recording studio built into a 550 ton ship. Psychedelic R&B revivalists Venice Trip were in session on Day 1 to track a new release, taking advantage of the isolated studio environment to focus on a single track.

“Recording in a studio based on a boat made a big difference. It’s by nature very self-contained, so there are no distractions. You can’t stop for a break and nip down the pub. It’s a very focused, positive atmosphere, and hopefully that’s reflected in the music we’ve made.”
