“Then it’s a pretty good thing I’m strong.”  Kadri doesn’t like the tone he uses -- the one that suggests, for the sake of her mission, that she leave him here and continue on. She can escape on her own, easily. She can take the data chip back with her to the Resistance, like she’s supposed to. They didn’t even know he was being held here. Her rescuing him is completely an accident. But that doesn’t mean it’s not her priority now too. Not only is he her Commander, he’s her friend. There’s no chance she’ll leave him behind. She tugs his arm around her shoulders and slips hers around his waist.  “Just lean on me.”

KYLO HAD the droid secured in the confines of his own ship. He would respect their agreement, and come ALONE. Entirely so. It had proven rather difficult to retrieve the droid’s database, and Kylo’s intention was to, hopefully, retrieve the information stored within the mind of the PILOT. Poe Dameron, after all, was no stranger to the intrusive GRIP of the force flitting through his memory. Kylo is certain the pilot is not EAGER to relive the experience. But perhaps he would be open to a TRADE of sorts...at the expensive of his precious droid.

Or perhaps Kylo would take them both in, and keep them as COLLATERAL. Kylo is certain the resistance would be missing their most renowned pilot. A feat that does, admittedly, impress him.

Kylo  w a i t s  at the coordinates he had sent to the man. A neutral planet, in a clearing of a rather forested area. It provided cover. PRIVACY. He was alone, but should Poe break their promise and bring BACKUP, of which he suspects, Kylo is prepared to be...unforgiving.

Finding his brother turned out to be harder than Win expected. He knew he wouldn’t just bump into him on the first planet he went to but it took him weeks to even get a lead, and then several more until those led him to Kijimi. He still couldn’t quite believe that Poe took up smuggling - and not just any smuggling, but spice running, out of all damn things.

Kijimi was cold and Win was glad for his thick, outer robe as he made his way quickly down narrow alleys to where his last lead suggested the smugglers could be found. As he got closer, his heart suddenly jumped in his chest when he felt him. Finally! Poe was definitely here and Win broke into a run for a moment, just out of excitement.

He slowed down when he got near, staying a bit of a distance away and hiding behind an old warehouse as he watched. Poe was unloading cargo from a ship but he wasn’t alone. A man with a blaster was there too, on watch... but not just watching for intruders. No, Win could sense he was watching Poe too and he frowned. Things only got more complicated when Poe was done with the work. He glanced his way, perhaps sensing him too, and Win reached for him in the force, a brush against his brother’s mind, letting him know of his presence. But the other smuggler grabbed Poe by the arm, trying to usher him towards their den. And Win knew that once in, Poe wouldn’t be able to just come out to see him.

Impulsively, he left his hideout and ran, making noise to get the man’s attention. He had his blaster up but he wasn’t shooting yet, demanding for Win to stop and state his business. One hand on his lightsaber under his robe, Win raised the other hand slowly, concentrating and touching the man’s mind with the force.

“You will go inside and let me speak with my brother.” He stated slow and confident. The man blinked at him, but then lowered his blaster, repeating the command before turning away. Win watched him go, heart hammering in his chest, and waited until the man disappeared in the den before finally turning to Poe.

“Kriffin’ hell... Kijimi? Seriously? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!”

it’s  been  an  age  since  she’s  had  any  sort  of  attention  like  that  ,  or  been  able  to  give  it  to  someone  --  but  tamás  isn’t  currently  with  her  and  she’s  been  left  with  his  admittedly  attractive  cousin.  what’s  the  harm?  she  enjoys  the  way  he  smiles  ,  and  the  way  he  laughs  ,  and  well  .  .  .  she’s  had  just  enough  mead  that  being  rejected  won’t  damage  her  too  badly.  chin  rests  in  the  palm  of  her  hand  and  she  tilts  her  head  at  him  from  across  the  table.    ❝  they  should  write  songs  about  you  ,  you  know.  i’d  say  men  like  you  make  a  popular  tune  but  really  ,  are  there  men  like  you?  ❞

✦ Tristan ran after the pilot, a bag full of water bottles strapped to his back. Short of breath, he swung it off his shoulder to hand it to him. The admiration he carried for General Dameron showed in his eyes. He was excited to talk to the man, but attempted to keep it under control. Not like the General would take him along to the mission just because he brought him water.

“no! no. what i need right now is for everyone to stop treating me like i’m already a widow. he’s coming back. he’s not dead.”  elsie knows that the general means well -- he always does, and he’s not doing this as a general, he’s doing it as a friend. but she’s had enough of people tip toeing around the subject of the missing pilot she’d married only weeks before.
