Happy Friday the 13th everyone! I hope it's your lucky day. You're off to a good start as the holiday spirit is everywhere, our shopping days are sunny and warm, and we have the spectacular Leonid Meteor Showers to amaze us this Sunday and Monday night. Yes, stores and parking lots are over-crowded but try to keep that warm holiday spirit alive. Build in a little extra time for all your weekend activities. And remember that a smile will go a long way with everyone you meet this weekend.

Of course, you've been there before but a half million people can't be wrong. It's worth the visit again. Besides, you know you still have shopping to do for that certain someone.

WINTERHAVEN FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Hayrides, Party Bikes, and Trolleys will wheel you around a sea of dazzling lights and displays at Winterhaven every night through the end of the year. TEP is the main sponsor of this event which means their customers (us) have made this a reality. Always worth seeing this spectacular display.

Get in the holiday spirit at The Fox Theatre night with the LIghtwire Christmas Story featuring holiday music and captivating lightwire performances. Show starts at 7pm.

TUCSON ARIZONA BOYS CHORUS

Two shows today at UofA's Crowder Hall featuring the current group of young voices continuing this 80-year-old Tucson tradition.

THE BLIND BOYS OF ALABAMA

This special Christmas show tomorrow night at The Rialto Theatre offers the gift of gospel singers who have performed for presidents, won multiple Grammy awards, and now offer us their beautiful harmonies of Christmas music.

A SOUTHWEST NUTCRACKER

Tomorrow and Sunday at the Tucson Convention Center we have our chance to once again see this classical ballet transformed to showcase our southwestern heritage.  Make it a tradition to see this one every year.
