It's sweet that ligany warns deserving that reffering to the anniversary as its birthday would get it into trouble, feels like she's looking out for it, that combined with the fact she doesn't live in town gives me the vibes she doesn't agree with the towns way of things similair to music. Kinda wish somebody would stand up for deserving tho, but with how long this has been going on and whatever happened that put deserving in this position in the first place being still in living memory it probably makes that feel a bit insurmountable

The anon that commented about the shock of the most recent update. I think of the shock was that grace feels like one bad actor, an adult, but the most recent update kinda just shows you how this entire situation is rotten, not even the teens are free from it, and sure the previous comics gave the vibe of how this was a wide spread community problem, but then you're just shown it. Like if you saw some mold peeking from in-between the floorboards only to take them out and realise the entire foundation is rotten. Like how the hell am I gonna fix that??

Well, yes. How it feels to recognize deeply intrenched misogyny & racism & ableism & such things in all daily life. Inescapable. Teens & kids are probably the easiest demographics to pinpoint this with irl cuz they’ll just say the damn thing. It’s all very evident if you ever go to a school and overhear kids there talking. Now how do you react to it? Haha. This theme will continue with Ligianny ❤️
