Peter had been sick and with a fever since he woke up, but denied it all day. And in his bad efforts to stay awake he’d drank enough coffee and energy drinks to wake up a dead horse. Now he was standing upside down on the ceiling and with a batman mask on his face. Now with a very deep voice he responded to Steve, “Shut up or I’ll beat you. i WAS BORN IN THE DARKNESS!”

“Out of sight, out of mind,” Peter proclaimed, snatching up the offending weapon and quickly webbing it to the brick wall high above their heads. Nobody’ll be getting that puppy down for at least two hours. No need to thank him for making their mission a little less dangerous. Not exactly the type of mission he’d have in mind, though.

“So like, uh--” Wait., hold on, that guy just twitched. THWIP! Try getting up and stealing the drop on them now, criminal. “--tell me why you’re effectively cramping my style again? That was a common car thief, I could’ve handled him just fine without an Avenger‘s interference. What gives, where’s your shield?”

@barnesreporting@captainbrogersThose two are a package deal, okay?We have really exciting conversations and even though we are very very far from each other, we still manage to contact each other all the time and get up to odd shenanigans.  I love these guys, okay.  @liibxrteBee is a special lil bumble bee, okay?  a special lil bee from far, far away.  one of the first steve’s I’ve rp’ed with.  I’ve known Bee forever it seems like.  We’ve shared a lot in the years we’ve known each other, and it’s so unfair that everyone has to live so far away from me.  ANYWAYS.  Bee is going after a beautiful career and I laugh because it’s nearly identical to the one I’m going after!  keep buzzin’, Bee.

she’s not mad; this isn’t her angry voice or angry posture or anything even resembling that. this is her frustrated that her partner (of almost two years) wasn’t listening to her. that he seemed to barely know her. 

she understood the want for distance, but they were running into danger unknown twice a week. there was a level of trust and closeness required for that.

“all i know about you is from your SHIELD file and the exhibit at the smithsonian. and that you appear to be allergic to parachutes. asking for some getting-to-know-each-other time shouldn’t be out of the question.”

FIRST MEETING STARTER PROMPTS!

👜: My character drops their bag and yours approaches them to return it.

Steve’s bag is old and fraying at the seams, but he honestly can’t afford a new one. For the most part, he tries to just hold the majority of his possessions, for fear of the bag snapping - just as does one rainy monday morning, outside, where it falls right into a puddle. books and sheets of paper go flying everywhere, and as the bell rings steve struggles to collect everything. he looks up when a hand meets his, holding out some of his heavier textbooks. the guy on the other end of that hand? well - he’s gorgeous.

                “Uh - hi. Thank you.”

                “You’re welcome.” 

But it’s raining out and this poor guy’s stuff is getting  drenched. So Bucky doesn’t stop there. He keeps on reaching for scattered papers and pencils until they’ve both rescued everything, wet and damaged as it may be. One of the papers catches Bucky’s eye, makes him stop short to focus on the pencil drawing he sees on it. 

                “This is stunning... did you draw this?”
