It was the call that had gotten Volt’s attention before the weight hit him and the hybrid fell face first into the dirt with the stranger using his back as a pillow. Harmony had at least managed to dash herself out of the way, but was now standing by her father’s head as he picked it up and spit out a small amount of grass before looking behind him.

“Nice of you to drop in..” A giggle is heard from the two year old. “Glad my backside could break your fall...”

   Sonic tried to sniff them out, but found that he couldn’t really make any extraordinary results. He was truly still human. The 6′2ft human cautiously steps forwards and makes his way to where the sound was. No use fearing the unknown.

“Whoooo!!!” Holly cried, sliding down dusted stairs that are sprinkled with various bits and pieces of rubble, using a large piece of wood as a sleigh of sorts. Sure, sliding down abandoned stairs was pretty dangerous, but going into broken down buildings was already risky enough, so at this rate it’s anything goes with this kid.

Spat was too busy gnawing on an old doll he found on one of the rooms’ beds. It was until Holly flew onto the floor and jumped off before the makeshift sleight crashed into the wall when his chewing was disrupted. Tumbling and tumbling until she found herself upside down against a door to a room they have yet to scavenge into. The wallaby whistled, looking at what could’ve been a disaster and then at Spat, who was glaring back and quirking a brow, “Chaoo...?”

“Sooo...find anything good?” She asked her companion, adjusting herself into a more proper sitting position, and finally noticing the doll. She rested her elbow against her knee and her hand was against her cheek. Spat rolled his eyes and continued with his teeth shredding the head of the toy.

“I wonder who that belonged to...” She remained silent, then shrugged “Oh well, probably long gone by now.”
