just like some thots on kylo ren’s redemption again--I am pro-bendemption but in the way that I am pro-redemption in Any Capacity for kylo ren, and pro-kylo-ren-achieving-peace, not that I believe he would then identify as ben solo and just like, be fucking happy, or whatever. 

I don’t think turning entirely to the light side would be necessary for resolution of his internal conflict--that’s what I think ultimately his redemption would be, by the way, a resolution of conflict and clear direction--but I also don’t think that means he would just remain forcing himself into the dark side, bc I think he clearly is conflicted with that path as well.

and it is silly to say “what does he have to be redeemed for” as if he isn’t aware that he’s made choices he regrets lol like it’s an internal redemption not an inherent forgiveness by the audience but him forgiving himself.

anyway I think he’d just choose what he wants for himself, rather than forcing himself into some dumbass box like leia and han and luke and snoke all wanted to do to him. just let himself be
