i also feel like it sometimes becomes a problem between who are deemed 'bigger ccs' competing because i know in the past with events like minecraft monday you had to have a certain amount of followers or views to be invited (ex. being dream faking his numbers to get into minecraft monday) and some people feel like that creates some sort of imbalance between ccs pulling bigger numbers etc.

there are definitely a lot of weird dynamics that come into play in minecraft events. like you need enough large streamers to justify twitch sponsoring the event, but also it probably does feel bad if a large streamer who already has lots of money wins if you are a smaller streamer who's life could genuinely be changed ten times over by getting that money. but also nobody is entitled to it and it's a privilege to be invited! and everyone should and does have a fair shot at winning by being in the game! it's just a weird vibe which is why I appreciated it a lot when people are so kind to george and sapnap in events!
