watching lando's solo interviews from the last few years and he's always so spiky, sooo i guess what you might call casually cruel. like he Just Doesn't Care.
and then you see his media with oscar and he's so giggly and soft and just wanting to make oscar laugh
“You can be consistent, but being consistently second is not very useful. You need to have both speed and consistency, and if you want to be at the level of my team mate, you have to be both.”
— Oscar Piastri.
do you think erik knows that william has the hottest voice out of any of his characters.
i have like so many things to say it’s gonna take forever and i’m apologizing in advance for flooding the r&m tag lol
but right now all i can say is i thought that was a phenomenal episode. easily one of the best in the series.
Just realised something about this spread-
Ok, so first of all, the entire one-sided discussion with Dr Zeller, like boy, she doesn't know about the LOA and even if she did know- She probably just thinks you're being racist.
And god damn the silence from her end just makes me embarrassed for Bruce.
Two, if anything, she's probably not upset with anything related to Damian (if she were upset, that is).
Now, let's assume she was upset.
There are some probable reasons that she is upset, and I've given myself the moment to make some assumptions.
The literal project that she runs is one that's meant to provide a place for Gotham's villains to be changed and to humanise villains in an effort to create a safer Gotham. She is one of the few people to believe wholeheartedly in second chances and the ability of people to change for the better (one of the reasons I think she might've possibly found Bruce's statement of his own son kinda uh... weird). And she had signed the paperwork to shut down her project, and possibly did it out of pressure (especially with how some of the higher-level people in Wayne enterprises speak of her project as a 'boondoggle').
2. Bruce literally just left her alone after she figured out that Bruce was Batman and Robin was Bruce's son. Like, literally, he just got up and left her. Like what? If she's angry at him, then I completely get it. But this kind of behaviour is what you'd see Tim Drake (as a teenager, not an adult to be extremely clear) do to any of his civilian cast (like Zoanne or Ariana), not what you'd see Bruce Wayne (a whole ass adult) do. And I know, you can make Bruce not-perfect, but this is just not it.
But of course! Let's write Bruce not even doing a bit of thinking and understanding cause he just assumes the issue is with Damian and shit cause yay, let's be racist. EVEN THOUGH HE WAS IN THE FUCKASS MEETING ROOM AS PEOPLE BASICALLY INSULTED DR ZELLER'S PROJECT. The issue is that he was revealed multiple issues ago, not that Annika had to drop a project she genuinely believed in by her own hand.
If anything, this Matt Faction run is doing nearly everybody in it dirty and shit- Like holy love of god-
So far I've only enjoyed IWTV casually but it does not escape me to mention what a gorgeous man Jacob Anderson is. The sort of beauty no poem could capture. I would end it all if I was Lestat and I fumbled a man who looked like Jacob.
