i get what you mean, and that they both did something dumb and use their love as an excuse, but tucker doesn’t love waverly. he doesn’t. it doesn’t matter what tucker or beth or anyone says. he doesn’t love her. he’s obsessed with her but he doesn’t love her. but in nicole’s case her love for waverly really is an excuse, if not a misguided one. nicole lied because she actually does love waverly. tucker stalked and invaded the privacy and life of waverly because he’s a gross sociopath. so, i’m sorry, but i just can’t.

you know the chewsday thing is funny, it is, but after being friends with a bri'ish person (im sorry...😔) i realize for the first time that like us americans also confuse our t- for ch- (and "sh-" - any word that ends with 'tion') in different words. like try saying Trump or Trying without any trace of a ch-. its like impossible!! also, wait dont we kinda say inchresting too? i'm pretty sure those arent just jersey things or me things...

also been thinkin' about the 't' and 'tt' divide. when i first look at it it's like ok so brits do a little skipping of it and americans more slur it into a 'd'. but like, the truth (chruth) is that there are Definitely some words with 't' that we skip as well. americans say "bridish" but not "bridain," its more of a skip with the second one. it's "gedding" ("getting") but if we're dropping off the final g, which definitely happens somewhat, saying gettin', we also naturally do that skip of the t's. saying "geddin' " sounds awful. at the same time, saying it with the g at the end and skipping the t's (geh'ing) sounds totally foreign.
