Just read the text kdin wrote and some of the responses to it and I feel like people are focusing too much on the actual saying of slurs, when to me it's a lot more telling that she had to wait for the people involved to change and learn and apologize to get closure, because hr would not do anything about it. People are gonna be shitty everywhere but like the basic job of hr is to adress the behaviour and ideally to make it stop. Also people aren't talking about the financial shit nearly enough. I guess it's easier to find something to criticize that is solely the fault of individuals, and to not see that the whole ship is rotten.
