I sometimes share my more interesting or narrative-heavy dreams here and last night’s was a pretty good candidate.
It started out with a very fairy-tale premise: I was one of three daughters whose mother was very ill. Each of her daughters was to go out and make a pact with a different type of witch in hopes of finding a way to save her.
The eldest daughter went to talk to someone who had powers based on light, candlewax, ghosts and subtlety. I saw a sample of the powers one of her proteges had. It seemed like a bad deal, since using their powers meant having to hold their breath for days -- if they exhaled even once while using magic they’d blow out the candle they carried, which held their life force, and have to wander the earth as a restless spirit. The risk didn’t seem worth it to me.
I never found out who the youngest daughter intended to meet with, since I got caught up in my own story. I was the middle daughter, and I’d decided to meet with a very dark/evil-aesthetic hag who was only ever referred to as “Auntie.” After explaining my family’s situation and asking for help, she gave me a list of materials to gather and told me to take them to a special location at midnight, draw a circle on the ground and lay in it with my eyes closed.
When I asked how long I should lay there she said “you’ll know when you’re done” and warned me not to fall asleep. She then hinted that it would be rude to ask for more information.
I say again: maybe game of thrones would evoke an emotion from me if half the scenes weren't two half-lit silhouettes having a deep conversation in the pitch blackness
Messy and low quality piece I did for a series I’m coming out with.
[[crobats]]
“I don’t think you’d have a crobat.” Tim said rather suddenly. Bruce looked down at the small boy, curled against his side, lost under a sea of blankets and no less than three heating pads. There was a pink gaming device clutched in his hands, his little tongue was sticking out as he concentrated on his game.
“Oh?” Was all Bruce could say, because he had no idea what Tim was talking about.
“All the forums say you’d have a crobat, but I think they are just going on a bat theme. I think you’d have a lucario. It suits you more. But I mean, you aren’t just limited to one. But if you were, you’d have a lucario.” The boy hummed, leaning more into Bruce.
“Of course, Tim.” The man said softly, running his fingers over the end of Tim’s short braid. “Do you want some ice cream?”
The boy pursed his lips, then nodded. “Yes. But I don’t want to move.”
“Okay, Tim. I’ll ask Alfred.”
I need my dog overnighted.....
Is the reason I’ve never found love because I didn’t forward one of those messages when I was 12?
My Chem teacher mentioned something about students being hurtful and I told him not to worry, because they're like twelve
