how do you think polybusters like to cuddle? do they at all/when/which positions with which people (feel free not to answer all of these lol!!) they are so cuddleful to me……..<3

Don’t go here often anymore but this ask woke me up from my slumber, hell yeah 💪

RGB cuddles is a very real but also very funny concept for me bc while you obviously need space for cuddling, they all have queen sized beds. If it’s two people hugging at one time - I can see it. Three? Would be challenging, but still possible. Four? No way. Does it stop me from imagining it? Nu-uh.

My most favourite cuddle hc for them is college Ray and Peter. In my head they were roommates in uni and were constantly blurring the lines between friendship and intimacy (the qpr ever). They’d cuddle like every other day. In my mind Peter wouldn’t have many friends and so would cherish his closeness with Ray immensely. Add parental neglect and Ray’s warm and loving attitude and you have a perfect recipe for affection. I think they’d snuggle in Ray’s bed almost every evening, just chatting about the day’s events and feeling comfortable and safe 🫶

Overall hcs for them go as follows:

Egon: doesn’t really initiate affection much. Likes it when he feels like it, but prefers to be the small spoon. He basically just lays there while the others hustle around, getting into comfortable positions. They also love when he talks science during the cuddle sessions and sometimes ask him to just yap about some random stuff. He gladly does.

Ray: the biggest spoon ever! Bear hugs!! I also think he gets cuteness aggression and sometimes squeezes too hard. Very warm, very soft, basically the perfect guy for cuddling, always supports the idea.

Peter: can both be big and little spoon, but prefers being held, it melts him immediately and his tough guy persona disappears into thin air. Initiates 80% of the cuddle sessions and they mostly happen on his bed. The CEO of running fingers through others’ hair.

Winston: mr Surprise Hug, I think he’s the one to randomly grab someone else and spin the around out of happiness. During cuddles is mostly the big spoon, but looooves being held too. He’s very strong so his hugs can be a bit tight and claustrophobic (Egon is a huge fan, it feels like a weighted blanket).

Regarding when, I think mostly they’d pull something like this in the evening after a long work day when everyone is exhausted and just want to feel safe and comfortable. Another option is passing out on the couch, I think even if they fell asleep separately they would naturally gravitate towards each other.

Additional hc for Janine, separate bc she’d not participate in bed cuddles, but would be there for couch ones: little spoon, pretty much the only person who Egon would be a big spoon for. I also like thinking about her and Peter passing out leaning against each other (huge fan of ghostbook, they are bffs).
