ok i just wanna throw my hat in the ring and give my two cents on the bob/yelena discourse - i feel like theres people in the fandom condemning those that see a potential relationship between them to a point thats kind of ridiculous? as someone who’s struggled with depression (still does thank you vry much) and other mental health issues, i watched the movie and felt incredibly seen by the characters and storyline and i sobbed like a baby when yelena confessed to alexei just how Alone she felt - and otherwise i also especially saw myself and my partner reflected in bob and yelena and their quiet understanding of each other and the care and thoughtfulness they showed in all of their interactions - and i feel like people have to chill about how their dynamic is interpreted because i’d say there’s no wrong interpretation!! at the end of the day, it was a story about being seen and supporting each other through one’s loneliness - because realizing and remembering that you aren’t alone in your feelings makes everything and yourself feel just a little less empty is all insert head in hands + crying emoji
